MCL Restaurant & Bakery Avon

Use to go to one in Ohio during my teenage years and saw this when we recently moved to this area. Tried and my husband and I loved it just like our high school years. Plan on making this one of our regular places

Went to this location for the 1st time today and said to say it was horrible experience luckily I know what mcl should be like I love the 1 on east Street to start with the temperature of the food was lukewarm at best the ( cold ) food and ( hot ) food were close in temperature the attitude was horrible the lady asked if we wanted a table or booth I said table please she grabbed the tray and took off I had to look for her to see where she took it to had to ask for every refill of the drinks and she never came by to check on us but everyone else she was being nice to even sitting at the table to talk to them never got asked if we needed a to go container or drink even though she asked everyone else those questions personally I think this place needs major help and retraining on how to do customer service and how to be nice with everyone not judging people just because I am in a mixed relationship is no reason to mistreat me and my spouse I feel like we were discriminated against because of being a mixed race couple because every white couple or same color couple she was nice to but us she treated like we were trash the server and I use that term loosely was named Michelle I think she definitely needs retraining or fired for treatment of mixed race couple we are all human and should be treated like that not treated like trash because we are a mixed race couple

It's sad how the manager at this location is very rude and doesn't acknowledge us at all except to refill our drinks. She's cold attitude and treats us like 2nd class citizens. She's very friendly to the other customers in the restaurant and asks them how everything is tasting and so forth but with us just cold attitude and not making us feel welcomed. Spent almost $48 and the service is bad and the food lukewarm. We won't ever come back to this location again, there's other mcls that will be glad to have our business and money 💰.

The price for what you get is just not there anymore. You can't really get a full meal and a drink for under $20. For the price they are asking the quality is just not there anymore. The service staff is always super nice.

I wanted liver and onions! Was hoping for a MVP plate, but told that was only available with blue plate special. Red flag. $32 and change just did not reflect the mediocre meal. I should have stayed home and cooked. This amount was without a salad nor dessert! Fine dining, that is up to the customer, but did not even muster restaurant quality. The vegetables are from a can and not seasoned nor cooked with love. The liver and onions was so so! I will not be ready to come back here anytime soon!!

My hubby and I come to this mcl on Fridays, pretty much weekly and order roast beef manhattans. They always recognize us when we come in and already know what we like to order, (extra roast beef and 2 big cups of gravy in the side, so our bread doesn't get soggy while we are driving) and they always ask us if we're getting the usual, and start making it immediately. They even take the time to cut the extra fat on the beef off for both of us! Even if they get busy, right before close. The food is great but we also like to come see the people that work evenings because they are genuinely great people! 5 stars all around!

Husband and I didn’t think the *Senior Discount* should only be available from 2pm on. We got there at 12:30pm. BUT we were both sick upon leaving with us needing to stop 2x on our way home. The food tasted OLD and the chocolate pie I got for dessert didn’t taste like chocolate at all. We both sampled from each others plate to try everything. Overall, first time we’ve eaten there and won’t be back. And my bill for 2pple entree and 2 sides and a piece of chocolate pie was $44. My husband went back and they did refund $20. To the light side.
