Everything about this store reminds me of their Chicagoland locations. EXCEPT... they do not serve tamales, and my meal just wasn't the same without one. However, the wait staff were extremely friendly, our order was ready quickly, and the food was hot and delicious.

After moving from Chicago, there is something indescribable about the smell of the hot dogs and cheese fries that is underappreciated. Didn't get their names but the gents working the drive through the afternoon of 3/28/24 were awesome!!

Portillo's is a gem! Such a classic restaurant that radiates the heart of Chicago! Do not leave without trying their hotdogs. But the burgers are also delicious! The spicy chopped salad was so good! I'm A spicy food lover and haven't really had my love for spice put in a salad and they did it so well! The strawberry lemon cake shake was a refreshing and delicious but the lemon cake stole the show for me! If you keep passing the restaurant and saying you need to stop in... THIS IS YOUR SIGN!! Also huge shoutout to the friendly hospitable staff!

Went here for the 1st time with my husband who had eaten here a few times before! We had our Grandson & Daughter-In-Law with us - My husband's Italian Beef was supposed to have Sweet & Spicy Peppers on it & only came out with Sweet & our Daughter-In-Law had a Long Black Hair in her Fries, but said her Rodeo Burger was good! I got the Italian Sausage with Sweet Peppers & it was good & Grandson got a Plane Hotdog but it came out on a Poppy Seed Bun which he did not care for, but he loved the Fries!
