We had not dined at a Red Lobster for quite some time... saw the new menu items and decided to give it a try again. We went to the Avon IN location and had a great experience. We were greeted and seated immediately (a Wednesday evening), followed immediately by being greeted by our pleasant server Whitney. I tried the new Lemon Basil Mahi with orzo rice and was very happy with my meal! My husband had his “go to” Popcorn Shrimp with baked potato... won't lie... he still misses the salted exterior of the past, but otherwise was quite satisfied. The service was very prompt and attentive as well, including a pop-by from the manager. We live in the area, and based on this experience we plan to return again soon.

Only way it could have been worse is...well I cant think of anything. Food: crab was cold, what little of it there was, very little meat. Service: slow, 37 minutes from time we ordered appetizer till it came out. Atmosphere: would have given 1 star due to the crying baby but that is not restaurants fault. Dont take an infant to a sit down restaurant. Worst dining experience I have had in a very long time. Want crab? Go to the Ugly Crab down the road or make the drive to the Journey.

Well, when we walked in, I did not feel welcomed. The server had an attitude towards the hostess. When I asked the server about a drink she told me she was in recovery. Which made me feel uncomfortable, a simple yes it's one of our most popular drinks would have been fine. The food tasted old and dry. The tartar sauce is new and I don't care for it. The manager needs a lesson on how to talk to staff instead of yelling to clean up where close! Why are you on your phone?! I think you could use some new staff. I don't have to come back for the price of the food and the service!

It was Christmas. They did the best with the crowd we had. Would go back. Nothing special. Was not super clean and the food was standard.
Food was hot and fresh, service was fantastic. We'd never eaten out in Christmas before but we may have just started a new tradition!

I had an amazing experience at Red Lobster! The server was super sweet! She got my order taken right away and returned quickly with my salad. The manager actually brought out my meal and double-checked if I needed anything, which was some more delicious biscuits to go with my meal!
