Took my grandaughter to get a waffle for her 8th birthday! I hate myself for not remembering the gentleman that served us. He was definitely a bonus. Fist bombs, high fives, and catered to the birthday girl. She was happy as ypu can see in the picture.

Came during the weekend and we had a waitress that was absolutely awful and lied about our bill. We told her the bills were separate and she comes back with a total will of around 60 dollars for us all when she separates them she adds an extra 30+ dollars. Never returning. The food was terrible but she made the experience so much worse.

My son and I stopped here for lunch on 7/13. We ordered our food and it was brought to us after about ten minutes...except for my waffle. The server brought food to the table next to ours and then dropped off our check and asked if we needed anything. I said I still needed my waffle and he mumbled something and wandered off to the kitchen area, so I thought it was being taken care of. Ten minutes later we were done eating and I still had no waffle and the server hadn't been back by the table. I got up to use the bathroom and my son asked the server about the missing waffle again and got another mumbled response. I returned and grabbed the check and told the server I wanted an adjustment on it since I never received the damned waffle. He took $4.50 off the check and as I was waiting to pay it he took a seriously burnt waffle out of the iron and held it up, looking at me like he wanted to know if I wanted it. Absolutely unacceptable service. The closest Waffle House to me is 320+ miles away and this was the first time I'd been able to eat at one in two years. Very disappointed and next time I'm in the area I'll stop at a different location rather than coming to this one again.
I'm not in the Avon area often, but when I am, I always come for the breakfast. I wish there were more WH around the north side of Indy. The food & service are always top notch 👌 😋
