While the food was delicious as always, I couldn’t help but notice that my portion felt smaller than what I received on my last visit. I enjoyed the meal, but I hope the portion sizes can be consistent in the future.
So the food at the Avon location is good however the vibe inside doesn't give Southern cuisine. There's no aromatics that smack you in the nose as soon as you come in, unlike the Broad Ripple location which is very aromatic. It just feels kinda BLAND inside.
Food is excellent. Fair prices for the amount of food served. Always met with friendly staff. I suggest checking them out and highly recommend the Chicken Maque Choux with extra bread.
