Drove all the way home from work in Indianapolis intending on getting and chicken for dinner along with drinks and milk, along with filling up my tank in my truck, but after being told for the third time in as many weeks that the bathroom has Plumbing problems and being refused to use the bathroom to wash my hand and go to the bathroom after my long drive I decided to purchase nothing and go down the road. Up until this I was a frequent customer but now I will go no more.

Wish I could do a 3.5 star, im just not sure how I feel about Chester's. The food was good and fresh, which was nice, but they got our order wrong. We ordered the 8 count tender basket thing with biscuits and 2 sides (potatoes wedges & Mac n cheese). What we got was chicken breast, potatoes wedges and mash potatoes, which weren't that good.

I've been to this location multiple times. The staff is friendly and there are plenty of options to chose from. I usually only come to order the fried liver and gizzards. I have also gotten their chicken tenders. In my opinion, both tells food taste and availability is hit or miss. The first time I came in I ordered the livers and gizzards. They were good, what you would expect from a joint selling food inside a gas station with food sitting under heat lamps, but was definitely willing to come back and get them again. The second time we ordered a large order (about 50) of the chicken tenders for a party. They were hot to the touch and perfect to bring back for others to eat. One downside is that they do not offer free dipping sauce. This has to change! They have about 10 different sauces they charge 25¢ each, just outrageous in my opinion. On my next visit, I went for more livers and gizzards. Unfortunately, they didn't not have any. They told me to call ahead next time to ensure they had some...this confused me, but offers some convenience I guess. However, there is no phone number for this place that I could find. I came back a final time for the same order not too long ago and I could tell the food had been sitting out for awhile. It was not hot and the quality had declined. Safe to say there are plenty of other options around the area to choose from other than this place. It is great for a quick pickup meal. Other than that, I'll be staying away.
