Fed our high school robotics teams. Our order was ready on time. Pork, chicken, and mac n cheese were really good. The team loved it and the price fit our budget.
Johnson's BBQ Shack offers a casual dining experience with a focus on classic barbecue fare. While the meats are generally well-cooked, the flavors can sometimes be a bit one-dimensional, lacking the depth and complexity found in other barbecue joints. The sides, however, are consistently good, offering a nice balance to the main dishes.

I ordered pulled pork, pulled chicken, and Mac and cheese for a work event. They were very accommodating and made everything easy. The food was delicious!
I live in Bargersville Indiana where Johnson's BBQ is located, wonderful food, friendly and peaceful, highly recommend

We didn’t like it. The brisket was served cold. Nachos which were recommended ——-were cold. Shredded cheese not melted. Nacho cheese cold. Yuck. It was lunch time and not very busy. We love bbq and this was a huge disappointment. We actually dumped our food and left which is saying something because my husband will eat about anything
Brisket was completely dry and inedible. It had obviously been sitting in a warmer for hours, if not days. There was no fat on it whatsoever, and everyone knows that brisket is *not* supposed to be lean. Parts of it were completely burnt and rock hard. 3 employees were working, but it was pretty clear that none of them wanted to be there. The soda was great, but we will not be back. Save your money and just make the trip over to Squealer's instead. The product here is sub-par at best and extremely overpriced for poorly and incorrectly prepared BBQ.

Only one man was working while we were there, but he was still very kind and attentive. The food was very good. The portions don't compare. Going to a place like City BBQ gives you less than half of Johnson's portions for a higher price. The meat was seasoned well, and the corn casserole is a favorite. There is no high fructose in the sodas, and they were really good. Will come back!

Says they open at 11 am, went at 1145 am. Doors locked.
Edit: Went back the following day and I'm glad I did. Place is awesome. Had the pitmaster special with baked mac. Hand crafted soda. Absolutely delicious from beginning to end. The two guys working were super cool. I will be stopping everytime I come to Bargersville. They do catering and food truck as well. Highly recommend.

Tried for lunch...again. Pulled chicken so dry, pretty sure they just stuffed some chicken in a container added water and nuked...Corn stuffing was sooo hot I know it was nuked from watching kitchen nightmares. At 1 time this place was good..not anymore :(

I ended up here after another restaurant down the street was packed. I wasn't sure if they were even open, the place looked overgrown. An employee (who later made my meal) was smoking in the parking lot. They had good reviews so thought I'd give it a try.
Barbecue was so salty and mac and cheese had no taste at all. There were no drink lids and the packaged utensils had something wet (water) all over when I went to grab one from the container. After washing my hands in the bathroom and discovering the dryer didn't work and there were no paper towels I realized that might be why.
$12 for a lackluster sandwich and small drink definitely wasn't worth it.I guess I know why there were so few customers there as opposed to the other place.
