Came to the Eclipse party and it was awesome. Had some wine, listened to the band and watched the eclipse. Epic day!!!

We attended the final Winter Warm Up at Mallow Run on March 11th. The Vinyard was bare but proving for summer visits! The barn has a tasting room and store, with a downstairs kitchen/bar and seating. It's a walk-out so those averse to stairs can drive down to the door. If I remember correctly. Rest rooms are on the main level (or my rating would be 5 stars). We first enjoyed tasting 4 different wines. Got lots of great info during our tasting. I ended up purchasing a port/brandy ... very tasty! Lunch included loaded baked potato soup. Other food items available for purchase as well. And, you can bring your own! The music started at 2pm ( we arrived for soup at noon). Go early cause the place fills up!

This place is such a hidden gem. Club level service everytime! Shelly was so helpful with our tasting! Love coming here!

Visiting Indianapolis and was recommended this place. Did not disappoint! The staff were very nice, the wine was fantastic, and I even got to cuddle a cat for a while I relaxed. Would definitely come back if I was in town again.

Always my favorite stop! John and his crew are so amazing and always take such good care of their guests.

I hosted a Hikerbabes VIP Hike & Wine, and the winery we visited was Mallow Run (we previously hiked at Southwestway). The wine was FINE! In a great way. 2 of us actually opted for Ciders! I used to live on Indy's Southside, but have moved & while Mallow Run used to be a once a week visit, I have not been in 5+ years. I now live an hour away. It was great to re-visit several years later, and given the very FEW wineries that are close to hiking spots throughout Central Indiana, Mallow Run will stay on the list! There is no FOOD, but there are snacks that can be bought. I bought 1 large snack tray for our whole group to munch on, but told the ladies they were welcome to bring outside food!Mallow Run is "dog friendly," but dogs must remain leashed, picked up after and outside. Really limits the time of year we can visit as a group.

We have enjoyed Mallow for 6+ years.Always a great place to enjoy a variety of locally sourced wine, live music food, the best winearita’s!! Our fav is the charcuterie box and Mare’chal Foch, and John’s homemade cucumber crème spread! A truly relaxing beautiful vineyard getaway anytime the stresses of city life demand a break! Your friendly fur babies are welcome too!

Very enjoyable place to taste wine and to listen to music. You are allowed up to four tastings for free. You can then purchase a bottle(s) and sit outside to enjoy the live music. (Not sure if there is music every night so you should checked into it before heading there.)There is plenty of parking and they have a nice outside patio as well as an extensive lawn to stretch out on. (Bring chairs and/or a blanket.) The band we saw was the Indy Annie's and they were awesome! Excellence performers and fun music! We even bought their CD. There were food trucks and booths that sold various items on the day we attended. The wine is quite good, too. We bought the Fusion Red Blend ($30) and it was well worth it! In fact, we bought another two bottles and a charcuterie box of cheese and meats ($18) and enjoyed the music as well as a beautiful Fall day. I would definitely return to this winery again if I'm in the area.

Great family-friendly venue. The best time to take kids is between May and October for the summer concert series. There’s a variety of food truck options and a great selection of wine as well as some mixed drinks.

Traveled from about 50 mins away and I love checking out new wineries and often will buy quite a few bottles and gift some for holidays or very parties I host. I always need to sample before getting a whole bottle. I asked how many wines I could sample and costs. Note all other wineries I have been to charge for samples and I often will pay for second which never has been an issue. I was pleasantly surprised when they told me four samples were free. I asked if I could purchase more. The rep told me if bought bottle got four more free samples. They did not provide pens or pencils to track your choices like most places do. So as I sampled got confused and verified with her that I had two left as I was trying to narrow it down further and she offered for me to have a coupe beyond this (I assumed since I already had mentioned purchasing additional bottles) and getting a glass. During my whole time talking to her noticed a guy working there listening but not interjecting. she walked away guy walks up and I assumed to get next sample and so I say which one. Without even introducing himself he questioned how many I had sampled. The body language also was very un friendly. Since nothing to mark with it caught me off guard and made me feel extremely uncomfortable like I was “doing something wrong.” I could not give an exact answer and he told me I could only have four. I mentioned being told if buying a bottle got more etc and sure he had heard me say earlier fine with paying… he basically told me she was new and everything she told me was wrong and went on further. It seemed he wanted me to just not have anymore. I use to work in the service industry and know it’s never a good look to talk about workers to customers or invoke them in obvious internal issues. I professionally told him my concerns. Then suddenly had did make the comment oh well if they are slow he would give customers extra samples to just smaller amounts (again do not ever involve customers in your internal problems). Note the counter had extra space and it’s a Sunday were not busy.. so basically he did give me the last couple of samples and said would address with her and admitted had over heard her talking to us. Alleged he just had to verify with us but again coming from this world if a customer is not complaining not appropriate.. next time pull your worker in private sure just some training needed done but at same time seeing he admitted he would do more sometimes to who knows but you know not my issue! I did get 3 bottles of wine but way less than normal would have.. we actually went to another winery then with much better customer service and I got multiple bottles there.

My review is based on attending a wedding and reception here. The facility is large, welcoming and very comfortable. The large room seats about 250+ people. This room and foyer/bar areas are well decorated, clean, attractive and comfortable. People flow nicely from area to area. The facility is very clean. The outdoor wedding venue was simple and sufficient. You seat out doors. The ground is a bit bumpy. The chairs were clean comfortable and sturdy. The alter center piece was attractive and served the purpose well. The outdoor venues are very nice! They have done an outstanding job of providing alternative spaces to the main area for congregating. The fire pit area is ultra nice, large and welcoming. There are several other lounge furniture areas where people can relax. The team here is very professional and friendly. They were very efficient at moving drinks. They also did a nice job keeping things orderly and clean.Well done!!

Another night with American English and Wine a Rita's! It's the end of another outdoor season with Mallow Run!

If you like dry this is your place, their sweets are dry. I would not consider any sweet to be a sweet or a dessert wine. Was not impressed, first time and last time.

Went to a party. Band was playing. Several food trucks. Lots of wine choices that everyone found enjoyable. Lots of free parking. It was a great evening.
