My parents came in for a visit and I decided to take them to Taxman for dinner on Saturday night. The weather was perfect so they had outdoor dining open. Our server was really nice, I don't remember her name, but she was very pregnant. We ordered the nachos with chicken and pretzels & cheese for appetizers, they were amazing! My dad couldn't stop talking about how great the nachos were! Our drinks were amazing! I had the espresso martini, so good!!! I had the mushroom risotto, my mom had the chicken & waffles, my dad had a smash burger that had an egg on it (forgot the exact name of what it was) and my husband had the steak frittes. All of our food was amazing! My mom said if this place has giftcards, she will get one for us at Christmas. Thank you for the great experience and thank you for providing my parents from Wisconsin a great time as well!

The food, service and atmosphere are all great. Unfortunately, 4 hours before our reservation through Open Table, the reservation was cancelled for no good reason at all. I immediately called the restaurant to inquire and they made a reservation for the same original time. I also received a message from Open Table that there would not be any points accrued.

Met friends for dinner. Monday special is $12 burgers with fries. We all ordered a burger and all were very happy with our choices. Our server was very nice and attentive. We will be back soon for another burger on a Monday. I drank wine but the rest enjoyed their beers very much. Great selection of their brews, wine and alcohol. The menu had a nice variety of dishes to cover everyone if burgers are not what you are looking for.

We have always been fans of Taxman Bargersville, but the last few visits were very subpar. Unfortunately I feel like it is mainly due to the service which, oddly enough, may be the manager. This person (30-40ish, male, mainly bald) is a wise guy. If you have questions about a menu item he typically doesn't have an answer and does not seek one, and if you mention a problem with your food he gives you a smart aleck retort instead of listening and trying to rectify the problem. We eat out a lot and honestly, service can make or break a restaurant. There are too many new restaurants with good food and service in the Bargersville/ Greenwood area to waste your time here.

Good service, very friendly. The burger was good and the frites were great. My wife said the pasta was a little tough (undercooked) but the shrimp was great. We always enjoy the service at Taxman...

Wife got the chicken and waffles. It was odd to have the waffles drenched with vinegary collard greens and the chicken was fried in a strange coating... almost inedible. I think “chicken and waffles” and I think syrup not savory. Got a spicy chicken sandwich with a bizarre coating, and fries arrived medium temp and dropped quickly. “House dip” for fries was ketchup? Taxman beers are all so soupy and strange; not a fan of that style at all. Seemed expensive for everything. Can't see myself going back.

First time to visit Taxman in Bargersville, but it won't be the last. Food was outstanding. The grilled cheese sandwich was delicious. And, the chocolate flour less tort was the best I have ever had. Only negative, food a little slow to come out, but it was worth the wait. Not a beer drinker, but my husband love the beer. A little lite on wine selection, but found one I liked very much. Overall a very enjoyable evening.
We've been here twice within the last four days and have had to send two meals back to the kitchen. The first was the smoked sausage and mac which was extremely over salted. Our waiter didn't show back up until almost 30 minutes after our food was dropped off. Finally, I asked for a new plate to go. Only a “sorry about that” and waited another 30 minutes for a to go dish. No comp or anything else other than a “sorry about that” from a manager. Tonight we went and ordered the New York strip (medium well) and classic burger with wagyu patties (medium rare). Steak was served cold and medium. The burger was cooked just fine but brought out with the rest of the food and the entire plate was cold. Room temperature cold. I was so hungry I didn't complain and just ate it. We sent the steak back and it was brought out cooked correctly. Still nothing but a “sorry about that” This kitchen often makes easily avoidable mistakes. Given the prices, the simple mistakes from the kitchen shouldn't be an occurrence 90% of the time we've been there. For reference we've been about 15 times since July 2023.

Went here during dinner hours around 7pm during the week. It was busy but the service was still top notch. The food was pretty good but the best but good enough to keep coming back so no complaints. The menu is pretty versatile the seared salmon was cooked too perfection and seasoned perfectly.
Stopped for dinner tonight here in Bargersville. We wanted to go to P & L but it was closed for winter hours. This is our second time eating at Taxman , we are just not a fan of the pricing is why we have only been twice. Today we both ordered off the starters menu. We both ordered the Steak Sliders. They didn't ask how we wanted them cooked but that's okay the flavor was great and the steak was cooked just right. I would definitely recommend!!

We always have a great time eating here but one thing is always odd to us. For a full salad they give you a small serving of dressing and will charge you a dollar for each extra one. I also had wings and asked for another ranch which is another dollar. For a bourbon and coke they will charge you for the coke also. Just an extra $4 added to the bill, thought it was odd. Our server said it's company policy which makes sense since P&L does the same thing.

they have great brunch options the kids love! plus yummy salads! their fall menu is always my favorite :) love their outdoor patio when the weather cooperates. definitely a great spot !

Great service. Great ambiance. Food is good quality but it wasn't hot & fries were cold & mushy from the steak juices. I wouldn't suggest they continue to put the steak on top the fries. We asked for new hot fries. They happily brought us more but they were cold too. :(. Overall our food had good flavor. Ribeye was average. We enjoyed its visit as our waitress was super nice. Restaurant has good vibe !'
