Ordered 2 of the $67 wagu steaks and it was as chewy as a Applebee’s sirloin very disappointed. We almost ordered the ribeyes probably would have been better off.

This place is amazing! Environment is sexy, service is top notch and some of the best steaks we have ever had. Crab cake appetizer was great!. Filet and Ribeye are some of the best cuts and quality around. This place gives the well known places like Tony's Of Indianapolis , St Elmo, Prime 47. La Tratoria and Sullivan's a serious run for the money. The difference was we made a reservation 2 hours before showing up and were promptly seated and waited on. I am certain that's gonna change as more people find out about this place. We will for sure be back! I think it was Katie who was our server and she was lights out good and attentive. Conner on the grill...keep cooking em like that...Fantastic meal!

Excellent service, attentive but no helicopter-ing Sea bass was very good and wife's salmon, though a bit on the spicy side for her taste, was prepared well. I tried it and thought it was excellent. Above all, the crab cake appetizer was outstanding as was the chocolate torte to close out with. Both of those are a must have!

The perfect ambiance for this upscaled Steak-House. There are two restaurants with the same entrance. This one is on the first floor and there is no wheelchair assistance. The restaurant is quite small and reservations are highly recommended.
I was greeted very well and was showed to the table. The restaurant was very much empty as it was weekday. Lexi was good and took care of me very well. Gave the best suggestion for trying Dry-Aged NY Strip. The steak was great and I paired that with Chablis. If you go early parking is easy to find and there is plenty on the street.
I will return to try Ribeye next time.

Vegetarian options: Not much

Dietary restrictions: Written

Parking: Plenty of near by parking

Kid-friendliness: No kids allowed. 21 and above

Wheelchair accessibility: Not really, the restaurant is on second floor.

My husband and I visited Up Cellar in Bargersville last night for the first time. We went to celebrate our 20th anniversary. I had never heard of it but my husband chose it and made a reservation. It was the PERFECT choice! The atmosphere is fantastic (you do need to walk up steps to get to it, maybe there’s an elevator and I didn’t realize it), it is dim, classy, romantic and upscale. The service is some of the best I’ve ever had! Our server was Taylor and she was perfection! She knew the menu and could answer questions and make suggestions as well. She was attentive without being over bearing. She was super friendly and I would definitely request her on our next visit! And the menu has enough choices without having too many to consider. I ordered the 16 ounce New York Strip and ordered it medium-rare. It came out exactly how one would hope and expect! I had asparagus as my vegetable and again seasoned and cooked perfectly! And it was atop a bed of mashed potatoes that were smooth, buttery and delicious. Taylor asked if it was our anniversary and we told her it was, she brought out two glasses of champagne for us to toast along with our desert of Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. I was too full to partake in desert, but my husband was moaning with pleasure! So I think that means it was pretty amazing! Thank you to Up Cellar & Taylor for making our 20th anniversary memorable!!

We had a reservation for 5pm when they opened. The service was on point. She was friendly and attentive. She explained the menu and made sure that our drinks were always full. The food was good and had good flavor. I really enjoyed the potatoes with the garlic butter. With the darker lighting it really has a nice intimate feel. It is nice having such a nice, higher end restaurant close to home so we don't always have to go to downtown Indy.

Parking: There is street parking as well as a small parking lot across the street and next to the building to the north.

Definitely an excellent choice for a more upscale restaurant option. The food itself definitely fell under fine dining and tasted as such. Ian was our waiter and did an excellent job and was very personable as well. Our only soft critique of the night would be that we were sat at a high top table that was not quite as of comfortable and also in the middle of a high traffic area for the waiters. However they did ask us before hand if we would like a table or high top and we said we didn't care as we had never been there before. That being said, we will be back another time to try out a table or booth. Overall, it was a great experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for a romantic date night or just craving some fine dining and or good drinks.

Up Cellar is by far my favorite upscale restaurant. The crab cake appetizer is the best crab cake I have ever eaten. You can't go wrong with the filet or duck for the main entree. The flavors are wonderful together, not over powering just a delicious blend of perfection. Finish off your dining experience with the 20 year Port and the peach tart. The tart is perfect flaky deliciousness in every bite. The atmosphere is lovely, cozy, and quiet, with gorgeous decor. Be sure to ask for Katie as your server. She is very pleasant and knowledgeable about all the food and beverages and seamlessly delivers. This is the place to go for a lovely dining experience.

Signed birthday card on table was thoughtful. We were given the choice of a 3 ounce pour of Prosecco for the birthday toast, which was thoughtful and appreciated. Started with cold, day old bread. Butter that came with it was really good; however hard to spread on cold bread. Husband had Chardonnay and said it was good. I ordered top shelf dirty martini. Martini glass less than half full. One olive with “funny” taste. I ordered stoli for next to see if it was the top shelf that was the taste issue. Again less than half full martini glass along with the “funny” taste. Maybe the olive juice? I had 6 ounce filet with the Oscar add on. The crab was mushy and overcooked. The vegetable carrot choice was tasty. The mashed potatoes are outstanding. The meat was overcooked. I ordered medium rare. Very little pink. Spice was over done. Husband had pasta with shrimp in a pink sauce. He said it was ok. We are foodies who have eaten at Michelin star restaurants and all over the world. We were not impressed. The mussel appetizer was outstanding. Not sure whether we will give it another chance. Overall we were disappointed.

My husband and I went last night for the first time to celebrate our 20th anniversary. I highly recommend and will definitely be coming back. Our server was Taylor and she was amazing! The food was all 10/10 delicious! And the atmosphere was fabulous and perfect for an anniversary dinner!

Delicious, Delicious, Delicious. From begining to end, everything here tastes so good. Had a nice time going here for Devour and just happen to make reservations during Happy Hour. What a great little place. Very intimate. The ambiance is so relaxing and the food is very, VERY good. The chef & cooks here are clearly the best at what they do. We were lucky enough to have a server named Taylor. She was always prompt with everything we asked for and maintained constant awareness of what we needed at our table. The bartender also did a wonderful job with our cocktails. 10/10! We highly recommend the Sazerac.
Only thing I'd suggest is a few more vegan options, but we made it work. We will certainly be back.

Great place to celebrate an occasion with friends or to just have a great meal and a good time.
We were there during devour and they had a great selection. We were all extremely happy with how the meal turned out. Ian took great care of our needs and was very polite.

Vegetarian options: Like most steakhouses, not many/any vegetarian options.

Kid-friendliness: No kids menu but their sides are generous portions. My son ordered the Deviled Eggs and the Baked Mac n Cheese. He was stuffed and we had some to take home as well.

We were really looking forward to going to up cellar tonight for the first time. We walked in about 10 minutes after they opened and the hostesses snickered when we said that we didn’t have a reservation. One of the hostesses supposedly checked with the manager to see if we could be accommodated, but she returned and said no. I typically make reservations when going out to eat, but I didn’t think it would be necessary because we were going as soon as the restaurant opened. As we were walking to the car, I checked on open table to see if any reservations were available and there was one open at 5:30pm (about 10 min after we left) along with 7:30pm and 8:15pm. We chose to go elsewhere and won’t be returning after this experience. Very disappointed and we were really looking forward to trying to the food!

My wife and I came for our first wedding anniversary. We are locals but had never dined at Up Cellar before. Overall, great food, great atmosphere, and Taylor was a phenomenal server. Having an evening happy hour is also fantastic. We will be back!
