Our reservation was set for 7:30, we were not sat till 8:00. If I knew we would be waiting for 30 mins I wouldn't booked. I talked to another couple there reservations was for 7:30 as well a they were sat before us at 7:45 but we then had to wait another 15 mins. Very disappointing. Yes it's hard to get people to leave from the tables but 30 mins delay with nothing offered for our time waited was poorly handled. For $250 food wasn't over the top.

We have been to Up Cellar several times, but this was a significant disappointment, and for a special occasion at that. We had to pay a deposit for a reservation, so I had high expectations. We waited 50 min beyond our reservation time for our table. Service was incredibly slow (and I understand timing of a meal from a serving standpoint, this was beyond that). The server did not offer the glasses of complimentary bubbles, we had to ask when entrees were brought out. The cost of our reservation was not taken off our bill. At the end of the night, I politely voiced my concerns and requested to talk to the manager. The manger didn't come to the table and they just took $10 off the meal (after then adding a 20% gratuity to the new bill). We were there for over 3 hours. Even a simple apology would have gone a long way. The food was great but the service was enough to prevent me from returning for any special occasion.
Great choice for New Year's Eve. Food was delicious and we were able to take our time and enjoy the evening.

Another excellent experience at The Up Cellar. Our neighbors came with us to Happy Hour. We enjoyed the oysters, crabcake, filet sliders, wine,etc. All at a very reasonable price during Happy Hour. Our waitress Lexi always adds to the experience. Up Cellar is in a class of it's own. Thank you.
