The Shift Batesille over promised, overbooked and terribly under delivered for this Easter event. We love The Shift for a casual lunch but they were way out of their capabilities. They were desperately understaffed in the kitchen and in the dining room. In the course of 2 hours to complete we saw at least three tables leave in frustration.
We were seated at our reserved time but it took over 40 minutes to have the meal brought to our table. Salads were brought with the entree...
Great service and amazing food! All the staff are very welcoming and our waitress Allie did a fantastic job! We enjoyed the Veggie Melt sandwich and special of the day which was a yummy steak. We do not normally visit restaurants at golf clubs but this one is great and we will be back!

We have dined at the Shift several times and we have always liked our dishes. Had the fried green tomato appetizer the other night and it was outstanding. Beautiful presentation and so tasty with the brushetta topping and pesto base. The fish and chips dinner is large enough for two people to share. Another great dining experience!
