Quaint hotel on the town square. The room is nice, there is a window unit for heat and air due to the age of the building. Everything else in the room is very modern. Both the king bedroom and bathroom are big and spacious. Little winding halls make it feel like a mini maze getting to the room. It's very quiet and peaceful in the area. Very nice rural town and surrounding area. Beautiful area. Only negative is there doesn't appear to be any wifi in the hotel. All in...
The rooms were large clean and pleasant. While there is a wheelchair ramp to the front of the facility, there is no lift to get to the second floor where all the rooms are. The staff is very friendly the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast consists of a granola bar a fruit cup orange juice 8 oz and a cheese danish. I had been hoping for some scrambled eggs, but they don't serve hot breakfast. Overall, I would recommend the Sherman as a nice place to stay.
As for the building, it's an old building with a squeaking and uneven floor.
Understaff, but staff there is super friendly and very helpful.
Walkability: Small town but walking distance to coffee shop, pizzerias, liquor shop, barber shop and e.t.c
