My family visited Smokin Jim’s this week while we were camping at Lake Monroe. My husband & I had the brisket manhattan & the 1/2 rack rib meal. The food & bbq sauces were absolutely delicious - ribs fell right off the bone & the brisket was sooo tender! Our server, April was the sweetest & most genuine lady! This was an excellent experience. I had a pulled pork sandwhich with green beans and mac n cheese. This is one of the best mac n cheese sides I’ve had in a while from a BBQ place. The pulled pork was delicious paired with their original house BBQ sauce. The decor and atmosphere feels very homey and funny.
I am not sure what some of the negative reviews were about. I absolutely loved this place. The service was beyond phenomenal. April is a blessing. I had the pulled pork sandwich with sides of onion rings and fried taters. The pork was fantastic. Texture, flavor, perfect amount of Smokey. The sauces were fantastic. The onion rings phenomenal.
