I ordered a custom, 2-tier cake for child's birthday, along with 2 dozen cupcakes, and 3 dozen custom iced cookies...with 48 hours notice! Not only did they do an incredible job in terms of the designs, but the cake, cupcakes and cookies were delicious! The kids and adults all had seconds (and thirds). It was such a pleasure to deal with the team. They are so kind, helpful, and professional.

They did my wedding cake and cup cakes back in October 2022! They didn’t have any openings available for custom cupcakes for our baby shower in June 2024 but they had a bunch in their display case the Friday before so I showed up right when they opened and bought them out! Got some more cupcakes before July 4th and everyone absolutely loved them! 100% recommend them to everyone! My brother is even having their cupcakes this weekend for his Baby shower! 100/10!

AMAZING cake! Oh my I am so glad I do not live close to Gwendolyn Lee Cakery I would be on a sugar buzz every day! My daughter had them create her very traditional wedding cake for 130 guests and let me tell you we had ZERO leftovers and so many people asking who made the cake? What impressed me the most was how well the cake stood up until we got to the actual cake cutting. It was 94 degrees outside and while the venue was cool the AC was not keeping up as it would in normal low heat, low humidity. I was so afraid the cake would melt, slide or sink on one side but it held up and was so delicious!

My husband stopped by on Friday, before Mother's Day, an hour or so before closing and picked up some cupcakes and a cake on a whim as we have been wanting to try this bakery for sometime. We got the last orange cream cake and the cupcakes were just random flavors. Let me tell you, the best cake and cupcakes we've ever had. The orange cream cake was so moist and tastes just like orange cream. The frosting was divine! Cupcakes were also so moist and good. We will definately be back and use you in the future for any cakes needed. Thanks for the deliciousness!!!!

Beautiful shop, the cakes were so detailed and just gorgeous. I peeked into the adjoining tea room and can't wait to try it out, it was a very cute set up. The gentleman working the counter was very kind, as well. I really liked almost everything about this place but I was a little disappointed in the cupcakes I bought. They were frozen from the case and I just didn't find them to be very flavorful. I purchased 4 different flavors and all tasted similarly, the taste was really akin to the cupcakes you buy at grocery stores. I wanted to love them but none stood out to me. I'll make sure to stop by again and have lunch in the tea room or maybe pick up a custom cake, the friendly customer service and beautifully decorated shop definitely warrant another try.

Amateur craftsmanship was very disappointing, the 5 stars & supposedly amazing pictures were very misleading. It looks like it was drawn on by an elementary school student. 0 stars on the artwork but at least the cake itself tasted decent. I mean it doesn't even look close to what was expected, it was actually embarrassing to present this in front of friends and family. I wouldn't say it ruined my son's very 1st birthday party but it definitely didn't make it any more special. Not ordering from here anymore.Response to owner: I left in a hurry & didn't have time to look at it closely nor argue with you about your shoddy work. I don't have time to review every restaurant either unless they wow me or are disappointing, which you fall into the latter. No I didn't wanna pay for a 3D cake but you could've at least treated it like it mattered since you took my money anyway. Now the whole community sees how you treat your supposedly lower end customers & your business will suffer for it, especially how you responded by attacking a paying customer instead of acting like you care.Response from the owner 5 hours agoI'm sorry you were disappointed in your cake. When we handed it to you we asked if it was OK and you said, "looks good" and left. I would've been happy to fix what you didn't like but you didn't even give us the chance.
