Super cute, great ice cream, both the scooped and the soft serve! Staff seem to be good wholesome kids!

Cute ice cream shop connected to the tea shop. They have good hours and the ice cream parlor is clean and cute. Costumer service was excellent and they even figured out how to do something they haven't done before for the gentleman in front of me. My ice cream was fine and as of now they have limited flavors. However they do have some Lemonade and tea that I'll probably try in the future.

I loved everything about this place! My daughter and I did the Grand Tea Time. My grandson did the Prince tea. We chose 3 teas and we were served 3 unique looking kettles of tea with the teas we had chosen. She also brought out sugar cubes, milk and honey to add to your tea. Then a 3 tiered tray came that had the 2 sandwiches we ordered on the first tier and strawberries. The 2nd tier had cinnamon bread, scones, jam and clotted cream, the top tier had a beautiful assortment of petite desserts- 2 cheesecake, 2 cupcakes and 2 macarons. It was a beautiful display! I couldn't possibly pick a favorite but I do keep think about those raspberry, chocolate coconut, macarons. My sandwich was the Sweet and spicy turkey breast with a thin layer of cream cheese then raspberry jalapeños jelly. I could eat that every day! The scones with jam and clotted cream were incredible too. My grandson had and loved his own 3 tiered lunch. He had sparkling lemonade, 1/2 pbj and 1/2 grilled cheese sandwiches, a cup of fresh fruit and desserts of his own. He claimed this was his favorite restaurant. We did some shopping in the store that had jewelry, preserves, candles, etc. I've already told some friends about this place and they want to go. The whole experience was perfection!

The experience of lunch at this sweet restaurant with a friend, or better yet, my husband, is a true delight! The ambience, the different beautifully decorated rooms, the delicious and attractively served food, the quick attentive service, and the owner Tammy's virtues and generosity in the community make this my favorite place!! When we walked in, my friend breathed out a huge sigh, and said, "Now we can relax!" So thankful for this little slice of heaven!! Ingrid Meador

This is a quaint gift shop and tea room. I have been several times and always had good food and good service. It's best to make reservations because they are popular.

An unexpected gem- formal tea? Beautiful girls lunch? Bracing cup of tea? Delicious and healthy food with gluten free options? I couldn’t believe I stumbled across this beautiful experience in such an unexpired area that I usually try to avoid. The hipster, punky scene isn’t my thing but this was anything but that! It was elegant, delicious, and a great value. While I was waiting for my food, I text 13 people to tell them about it. Highly recommend but definitely make a reservation for your party. They fill up fast!

We did the petite tea, but added an extra large dessert at the end. It was fun to sample everything. Before you leave, they also give you a home-made mint that simply melts in your mouth. Rustic room has a series of rooms; all of which are just beautiful. It's a perfect setting for an All Girl's Event, but also one for children. It's not stuffy or uptight, just fun--with a delicious mid-day tea/snack.

I don’t think I could say enough good things about this location! Great Staff, the food was really great, cute location, the store side had lots of cute items available. I had the quiche, tea and scone, my fiend had the meatloaf, tea and scone, and both were very good.

What a lovely little place on Main Street Beech Grove. We went for a princess tea for our daughters. A perfect girls outing! The cranberry cake was AMAZING! Fantastic staff who were very knowledgeable about the various teas! Make plans!

Quaint little tea room/restaurant on Main Street. Great selection of teas and coffee. Chicken Salad on a croissant excellent...a bonus pecans and cranberries can be added. Mayonnaise is herbed. Comes with a spinach salad and and a cup of fresh fruit. They also offer a half sandwich with a cup of soup...they have baked potato soup daily plus a soup of the day. Save room for desert...the chocolate cake is awesome...the icing is not overly rich.

Rustic Root is a combination cafe, antique store and crafty store. It has individual "rooms" set up to give a cosy, but elegant feel. The menu is not complicated, but portions are very satisfying. Good clean, healthy food is served in creative ways. It is very reasonably priced. Not a place to bring very small children, but a good place to introduce young ladies to the enjoyment of sharing a meal and the company of other women. The decor will keep you entertained as it is so full of interesting things. Reservations recommended.

My mother had always wanted to go to the tea room here with me and my sister so last friday she took us. It was an amazing experience, we all got the chicken salad sandwich and I really enjoyed it. I also got a slice of chocolate bread which was good as well. Obviously one of the best parts was the tea. I’m not really a tea fan, except iced sweet tea, so I didn’t anticipate getting any hot tea. When I viewed the list of teas I was very impressed and changed my opinion on wanting to try it. I ended up trying a chocolate coconut chai tea the waitress had suggested and it was divine. It was mostly a coconut taste but I really enjoyed it. I will definitely be coming back soon.

We met here for lunch after a friend recommended this tearoom but was very disappointed overall. It took over 50 minutes to receive our food after ordering. I had the daily special of soup, egg salad and tuna salad. Everything was good but not spectacular. We had to ask for drink refills. And the worst part was the noisy atmosphere. The guests seated in our room talked and laughed so loud they literally drowned out the conversation at our table. We never knew there was music playing until they left. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and won't go back.

I've dined at the Rustic Root several times over the past 6 months and have always had a pleasant experience. Their food is excellent, desserts to die for and its a great value for the quality (and quantity) of meals.
