I enjoyed the home town feel of the place. Lots of locals. A large local group of men meet there 6 days a week. I can't say enough about the waitress she was great. Sorry forgot her name but was the only one I saw that day. I've arranged to stay there locally the next time so I can eat here again.
Went for dinner with my 98 year young father in-law.\nFood was so good, we went back for late breakfast and couple of days later.\nMy wife had excellent catfish dinner, i had Alaskan whitefish\n\nI also had a piece of sugar cream pie, good enough for me to order a 2nd piece to go
Finally got the opportunity to stop here on my way from Richmond to Ft. Wayne. First, the dinner specials on the board were all attractive choices and in the $12 range, but it was only early afternoon, so I considered many reasonable menu choices (all $10 or less), and decided on the Mushroom Swiss burger. Good choice! A 1/2# Angus patty, not overcooked (!) covered with mushrooms and Swiss cheese on the freshest bun imaginable. Paired with some thin fries (crispy as ordered)...
