Waited 1.5 hours for food. Waitstaff checked on us once during that time. I got the one vegan option. It was ok but was cold when I received it.
Recommended to us by a friend and it did not disappoint. Brunch was great and our server was attentive and incredibly friendly. Will definitely eat there the next time we stay in the area
Fun place. Great food. Unique cocktails. Outdoor seating available which was dog friendly.
I had the Vegan Mongolian Beef Bahn Mi Sliders. They were phenomenal. With drinks, it was quite an expensive lunch but worth every penny. It was unique and very well executed. Best part was that my pups were welcomed in the outside eating area, and the server was so friendly. Perfect end to a beautiful day in the dunes.
Food was yummy and service was very slow. We were there when it was mostly empty and still service- from drinks, water refills, and food, took longer than I expected.
We had a wonderful experience. In our group we had our three (3) young grandchildren and the attention to their needs was wonderful as it was for all of us.
I've been coming here for years and while I like the outdoor area and music in the Summer I think this will be our last time coming. The menu is “quirky” but I can usually find something. The monster pretzel is fantastic but sauces it comes with are often a miss (either runny or way too hot to be edible) The charcuterie board sounds tempting but is not good nor worth the price. It could easily be so much better too - better cheese & meat, add bread, honey, nuts and more fruit. The service - SLOW at best. They know it too, as they print a warning on the menu. But waiting an hour for food is just not something I can get use to. The bar - decent selection of wine, beer and cocktails and probably the best spot and / or reason to come. Parking - tough in a tiny parking lot The deck outside - overlooks the road but the guitarist / vocals are a nice touch.
I love dining at the Goblin! The main complaint is that it is too noisy inside. Too many hard surfaces!
Today we stopped in to hangout and eat after Sketching the wonderful homes on Beverly Shore. 1st the staff was amazing in accommodations for our group. Dawn was super awesome with us. Then the foooood.. Oh my goodness. It was delicious and very well presented. Thank you to everyone and you'll be seeing us all back again soon.
Great place to meet friends. Awesome bread appetizer and the YUMO shrimp. Will be back again and again!

The waitress was very friendly and efficient. The grilled cheese and the clam chowder were very good but the sliders were ok. The meat was a little overcooked and the buns were slightly burned. The owner apologized and said they were working with a brand new oven. The wine was very good! Some of the best moscato I've had in a restaurant. I would definitely go back there.
Another great outing at the Goblin & The Grocer. Met some friends who were in from out of town and had a great lunch. Great food, excellent service yet again. The only downside was Dawn was not there so we could not wish her a happy birthday!
Great atmosphere and friendly bartenders. A must stop if in NW Indiana
We love the food and drinks at the Goblin & The Grocer. Very friendly and fun atmosphere. Love the patio during the warm weather months. Great small town feel.
Good shepherd pie on St. Patrick's Day. Music by James Gedda and Jack Whittle was very enjoyable. I do not remember the name of the server who did an excellent job.
