I got their fried chicken for carry out for the fourth time. I think they have the best chicken in the area! very crispy and juicy. The order was ready when they said it would be and was piping hot even after my drive home to Newburgh. The sweet southern slaw on the side is amazing as well.
For such a small town, this is the place to eat! It was my husband and I and another couple. Between us, we had the catfish, philly cheesesteak, fried bologna and tenderloin sandwiches. All were amazing as were their house-made chips!
Medium size portions(used to be larger). Higher prices than previously(I know prices are up everywhere, but the higher prices and smaller portions was a let-down). Friendly staff. Clean and welcoming feel to the place. Was told by server on our last visit they do not do desserts anymore at all, which combined with the smaller portions, lost a star from me. Used to have outstanding Bread Pudding.
