Yesterdaze was fantastic. This bar and grill serves a good selection of American staples. The bar is located downstairs, with the upstairs dedicated to the dining area. The building is a former funeral home, which was very interesting to learn.

One incredible waitress worked her butt off taking care of the entire restaurant. My food portion must have been from the weight watchers menu, one very small omelet and it took 47 minutes to prepare. But this is standard operation for this establishment.

Holli was our server and was awesome! The best buffalo chicken wrap I have ever had. Such a cozy, comfortable environment. Highly recommend!

Ordered chicken livers, and they were overcooked.

Breaded tenderloin and spicy fries are great. The beer on tap needs to be a lot colder.

This place is so under the radar. This is one of the best places to get home cooked meals in our area. The staff is always so pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend this place if you miss grandma’s home cooking. 5 stars for me time and time again!

Still the coolest building in Boonville after all these years. I love coming here for breakfast with my dad. The pecan pancakes are perfecty crisp and fluffy and the coffee is fresh and hot. Super laid back atmosphere and the staff is Hoosier hospitality incarnate. Pro tip though, bring cash as they do charge a 4% fee for card users.

Stopped in for breakfast but we just missed it, our server actually handed us breakfast menus by accident. Hence, my only suggestion would be to have a limited brunch menu for us out-of-towners coming through on late Saturday mornings. By the time we had checked out and made it into town, then drove around the square twice finding out that parking was across the way at the park, it was around 10:30. Lucky for me, my disappointment quickly turned to delight. I ordered a simple classic and sometimes that’s all you need to know you found a hidden gem. My grilled cheese and vegetable soup was on point! I usually take pics but my lunch and my husband’s BLT were gone before I remembered. They also have a bar in the basement with a spiral iron staircase or outside staircase to enter which we think is SUPER neat and kinda feels like a secret.. (There is a sign though) We’ll be back, I love a local spot with a warm welcome for visitors.
