We took an hour day trip to get to this Cafe. It sits overlooking Brookville lake. Great view! The food was fantastic. I had their half pound hamburger with bacon and the fixings. The wife had fish sandwich which she loved. Christopher was our server who was very attentive and very friendly and saw to what we needed. I would definitely make the trip back just to eat there. We took a selfie out by the lake and just had a great time.

Another great meal at Ainsley’s. Weather was just right, so we ate outside. Great view of the lake and Marina, plus a couple of holes on the golf course. Food was delicious and came out quickly. Service was great. Katie did a really nice job. We got there early enough for dinner, that there was no wait.

For years I touted Ainsley’s Cafe as “my favorite restaurant.” My wife and I ate there at least 2-3 times per year, and we would take our entire family there at least once per year. Since about a year ago, there has been a significant decline in the experience, from the atmosphere to the food.
If you go to Ainsley’s for dinner during the summer, don’t be surprised to have your night ruined by a group of golfers who spent the day at the adjacent course, drinking all day and whooping it up at the restaurant all evening. I appreciate guys having fun, but the restaurant simply MUST police the behavior better from the start. I have younger kids, and not a thing was done to keep the drunks from cussing loudly and behaving like they were at a wild bachelor party. This happened three visits in a row.
There has been a precipitous drop in the quality of the food. I can only assume ownership has changed, and dishes that were consistently great over the years have been consistently bad this past year or so. My prime rib this evening was tough. The rice pilaf used to be delicious - our last two visits this side dish is obviously the cheapest rice-a-roni knock-off out of a box from the local grocery store. It’s awful, and it is an insult to the patron to call it “rice pilaf.”

Some of the best food I’ve had ever!! I got the raviolis with a side of Alfredo sauce. Also got the chips and queso. Best chips and queso you’ll ever have. My girl got the ceaser salad and lasagna…AMAZING!!!!! Will definitely be back again.
