Food hasn’t impressed me since they moved to the new location. Always end up disappointed. There was an issue with a private party this weekend and the original server and Manager on duty were very snotty to us also.

I’ve been to this restaurant several times in the past. The food has always been fine, but the main reason I chose it for my birthday dinner was that they previously offered a private room at no additional charge, which many places do not. Based on those past experiences, I expected a smooth and flexible evening. I originally gave an estimate of 23 guests, but we ultimately ended up with 14 due to several very last-minute cancellations—some within an hour of the event—which was already stressful and disappointing. Prior to the event, I was told that if we dropped below 20 guests, we could order off the regular menu. Because we were still above that number at the time, I worked with the restaurant to create a simplified menu. The morning of the event, I was informed that one of the entrées was no longer available. I do appreciate that the restaurant was willing to keep that special entrée on the menu and prepare it anyway, since guests had already been told it would be offered. When I arrived, I learned—through a guest, not staff—that there was a $500 food minimum and that every guest was required to order one of the special-menu entrées. Guests were allowed to order appetizers, but appetizers could not replace an entrée as their meal. These requirements were not clearly communicated ahead of time and differed from what I had been told previously. It was also during this conversation that I learned the restaurant had changed its policy as of January 1 regarding room fees and minimums. I had booked the room prior to January 1, and at no point during the booking or planning process was I informed of this policy change. When I tried to ask questions and clarify what had been agreed upon, the initial waiter was combative and dismissive. Management stepped in, but the situation was handled defensively rather than collaboratively. At one point, the manager stated that I should have informed them earlier that fewer guests were coming that morning—despite the fact that cancellations continued right up until the event started. Rather than de-escalating the situation, the focus seemed to be on placing blame. No one from management apologized or checked in with us afterward. Our waiter was removed and replaced by a hostess, who was very kind and did her best under uncomfortable circumstances. We were ultimately able to stay and eat, and I do appreciate that the restaurant accommodated us and hosted our group. However, by that point, the experience was already soured. I even offered to share the room if they needed additional tables elsewhere, and they did take me up on that offer. While I was trying to be flexible, it was disappointing and further reinforced the feeling that there was little consideration for the fact that this was meant to be a private birthday celebration. Management never followed up with us during the evening. I understand that restaurants have policies, and I am more than willing to work within them when they are communicated clearly. What made this experience so frustrating was not the policies themselves, but the lack of transparency, last-minute changes, and the tone used when questions were asked. This ended up being the most stressful birthday dinner I’ve had. While the hostess was genuinely kind and the restaurant did ultimately accommodate us, the interactions I had with staff and management left a lasting negative impression. For that reason, I won’t be returning—not because things went wrong, but because of how they were handled.

We had a very nice dinner on New Year's Eve with friends. Not too crowded, just right. The chicken quesadilla was huge! I could only eat 1/2 of it. Nice atmosphere and great waitress.

We had a great time. Loved the live performance. Our waitress was amazing and always made sure we had what we needed. No cup went un empty.

We were disappointed in the ribeye, and the signature French onion soup was nothing like last week so also disappointed. Enjoyed the new Riondo prosecco..a much needed item, although at $12 for a split it's a little pricey. A 750ml bottle is $12 in most stores. I'd like to see a better pinot or cab. Clay was our server and we was “on it” as always! Music was good but a lot of chatter.

Overall everything was very good. The only thing I did not care for was there was lack of privacy in the large open room. There happen to be three separate families with babies/ toddlers that were screaming/ screeching throughout our dinner. Since it's all open seating with no dividers, it was hard to talk at our table at times due to the loudness. Our server, cocktail, and food was great, but it was just a little too much being in the center of a lot of commotion.

Frequent guests. Love the food. Tyler is a great waiter. Acoustic's there are bad though. Over all 4 stars

As always, the service and the food were excellent!! We were running late for our 6pm reservation because of a major traffic jam on I65 from Lebanon. I called and told them we would be at least 10 minutes late. The young man who answered reassured us that they would still be honoring our reservation. We were seated immediately on arrival. We love The Locale! Always worth the drive from Lebanon.

Great little spot in Brownsburg. I rated a 3 but definitely on close to a 4. Food was good, but the steaks were average. The pork chop however was fantastic and the apps and salads were really good as well. The restaurant was clean with modern decor. No waited to be seated and the service was great even though they were fairly busy. Decent outdoor patio area too. We went in a night where they had live music which was great except it was rather loud even when seated further away from the band. Definitely one of the better choices for restaurants in Brownsburg.
