Flapjacks on Madison Ave. in Indy blows Brownsburg Flapjacks away. The waiters/waitresses at Flapjacks in Brownsburg has no personality, you can barely understand what they are saying, they ignore you when you try to get their attention, they don't check to see if you need anything else or if everything is okay, their service is terrible.

This was a typical stop at Flap Jack's. Quickly seated. Attentive waiter took my food order quickly. It took me a little bit of time to decide what food (also typical) because of the extensive menu. The food arrived quickly and hot. It was the usual great comfort food. Our waiter had a great personality (probably still does) and was fun to be around. Overall, a great visit.

This restaurant was serving better food last time my family was there.I am undergoing radiation treatment for cancer,my wife and her sister went to get breakfast.I called my wife to bring me a beef manhattan. When I got the manhattan the beef was just very thin sliced that appeared to be microwaved too long, 1 slice of bread,and what looked and tasted like instant potatoes. I eat a bite of each and could not eat anymore.I took the entire meal back the next day for a refund and the manager told he couldn’t return my money because #1 it was cold(kept in my fridge)#2 it had been 24 hours.why the 24 hour rule .? Was they going to reuse it? My family and all my friends agreed NOT to ever eat there again,!
Place runs like a well oiled machine. Efficeint, friendly and delicous everytime. All the area FJs are great but this one is the flagship IMHO.

The best ever. Great breakfast. Came in town for US Nationals. Visited restaurant 3 days in a row. Spot on. Service, atmosphere, wait time, food quality,portions, prices, drinks constantly refilled. I cannot say enough about how great experience.

My wife and her sister went to eat breakfast,I was home recovering from cancer of the throat,I called my wife to bring me a beef manhattan.when I got it the so called Beef was sliced paper thin and looked over microwaved.they included mashed potatoes that tasted like instant.1 slice of bread (the photo on website shows 2 slices).I tried to eat this mess but couldn’t.I took it all back for a refund,the manager said if I brought it back yesterday they would give me back my money but not the day after I got it! What difference does it make that a brought it back the next day? My family and friends will not ever eat there again!

Great breakfast at reasonable price. Lots of menu choices. I enjoyed my country fried steak skillet and my husband loves breakfast and said his pancakes were light & fluffy.
