Staying for the night in Brownsburg while traveling home to NC. So glad we chose this local pub to eat dinner! The waitress, Dasia gave us great service and was so friendly! The owner, Tom stopped to chat also. The barbecue pork sliders were delicious and the mahi mahi (blackened) tacos were the best I’ve ever had!!! Awesome pub with a relaxing atmosphere! 😃

First time in awhile. Sat in bar, arrived about 1120. Greeted promptly. Didn't catch or know bartenders name. I asked what kind of fish was on rhe sandwich or fish and chips. She didnt know other than the north atlantic whitefish; of which there are many. She said she could go back to ask the kitchen if i wanted. I guess it wasnt an implied request or thought process. She returned in a few minutes and from afar, told me it was hake; sometimes used by the English for fish and chips. I ordered the sandwich; served with lettuce, a generic tartar sauce that lacked flavor and fresh fries. Bartender seemed more intersted in talking with her purveyors or regulars; than asking me how my sandwich was; or if there was anything else i needed. Brought me my check; i paid and left without a thank you or hope to see you again. These issues of lack of service seemed to be a training issue or must not be s.o.p.. I felt like i wasnt wanted. I'm a conversational person when it comes to co- service people but wasnt given the time of day or chance to engage. I guess it was up to me to try to start a conversation. As they say; good service gets you a good tip, i hope she enjoyed the maybe 15%.

Had the 14 ounce ribeye. It was bland seasoning and full of gristle. So feel that the steak was overpriced.

I wish the food had six stars!! We had the chicken, mashed potatoes and white gravy and green beans, and two fried biscuits and apple butter. I nearly fell out of my chair! This is comfort food at its finest! I can not say enough good things. We will be back next week to have it again.

I have had good experiences at this restaurant over the past 10 years. The staff treats me like family: Great spot for lunch or dinner in the Hendricks county area. Highly recommend!

The prime rib was high quality for the price, but I wasn't crazy about the sides. We ordered an appetizer of cheese fries that were absolutely drenched in cheese, so they were basically inedible. However, I will say that our server was a breath of fresh air. He was prompt, polite, and knew when to check in with us. And from what I saw in the dining room, every server operated the same way.
I will probably go back and try something different. Maybe I'll request light cheese on the fries...
