They don't have Steak n Shakes where I live, so I usually make a point to stop at one when I'm in the Midwest. I love the Chili 5-Ways.

Steak 'n Shake has great food, and a fun lunch/diner vibe worth recommending. The only downside is their app doesn't clearly let you choose (dine-in) when ordering ahead. A quick fix there would make the experience even better!

Why would anybody give their money to Steak and Shake. Nobody can come and sit in at Steak and Shake anymore why would we give our money to them? They've cut back on jobs, so no eating inside here! "Just so the owners can stuff the money in their pockets" the public knows what you're doing! Covid is long gone, get your lobby back together! People want to get back to a sense of normalcy. Where's all the money going from no jobs? It seems like all the money that they're saving from them not having any workers inside, is going right into the owner's pockets. This community needs jobs, covid is over! Nothing but corporate greed here!

Ordered online for pick-up. Waited for more than 15 minutes while multiple employees passed until my husband asked where it was... kids meal apple juice was missing add another 5min waiting for them to get it.. then soda machine wasn't working, add another 5 min waiting... get home food is all cold and needed reheated.

I still don't like having to use a kiosk to order. My food was hot and I received everything I ordered.
We arrived at the drive thru and no service. We saw people in the dining room so we tried to go inside. Sign on building stated dining open. People were coming out at 1 pm on a Friday. When we went to the door it was locked. No signs posted and no service. Very bad.

They have a "ghost kitchen" called The Shake Bar on UberEats. I've attempted to order shakes twice tonight and it doesn't matter what I'm actually ordering, they send something completely different. A mix it up butter cup is NOT a plain strawberry shake. And an oreo m&m explosion is NOT a plain chocolate shake. I had no idea the 2 places were connected. But I'm unimpressed and wond be giving them a 3rd opportunity.

worst customer service ever...went in today to order from the counter and nobody in front of me....waited waited and waited.. ..probably 10 minutes or more .No acknowledgement that I was there....so I said loud enough well I'm out of here.....if I could do give a zero I would
