Quick seating, quick service, friendly and personable staff, waitress Gennevive(sp?)is a great waitress and obviously enjoys her work, (I used to enjoy being a waitress also so I can tell), clean and welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, affordable prices, fresh, hot and delicious food, would definitely come back next time we travel through the area, definitely worth the stop, so glad we chose this place for lunch and not the McDonald's next to it! If traveling through, give this place a try!!

Great lemon rice soup. I ordered a daily special which was beef tips and noodles. There was probably enough for three dinners. It was meh. Service was great. Table could’ve been cleaned better before they sat us. There were crumbs on it. The restaurant was clean though. We were there for an early dinner.

We came all the way from Minnesota, and once again this restaurant proved why it’s our favorite stop in Cedar Lake. The quality, service, and flavors are top-tier and always dependable. The staff is friendly, the food is consistently delicious, and the atmosphere makes everyone feel at home.
