I wanted to love this place. I love the small "hole in the wall" places. We ordered a large deep dish sausage and cheese pizza by phone. We were advised it would be ready in one hour. We went and picked it up 45 minutes later, and it was ready when we arrived. So for timeliness alone, that's a five star.Interestingly, the pizza came in a bag instead of the traditional box. It was on a cardboard base, with a couple sheets of plastic on top to ensure the cheese didn't stick to the bag.The pizza looked interesting upon initial inspection. It clearly had somewhere in the neighborhood of seven or eight hundred pounds of cheese on it. That's an exaggeration of course, but it had a LOT of cheese. So much that once the cheese cooled a bit, we were legitimately afraid someone would choke on the cheese.The outer crust was mostly flavorless, with the consistency of a saltine cracker. Below the mountain of cheese, the bottom crust was very thin and largely without flavor as well.Overall, the pizza was seriously lacking in flavor, aside from the taste of the cheese, which, in case I haven't mentioned, was an insane amount.I'm very disappointed the pizza was as bad as it was. I like to support small business when practical, but the product has to be good. In this case, it was not.

Based on a number of good reviews we ordered a large pizza from Pizza Palace --not having ever been there before. We Like to support local small businesses, so I wish I could give them a positive review. But I can't. In a word: the crust was so bad that it was inedible. Soggy, thick cardboard comes to mind. We ended trying to eat a bit, then pulling the toppings off the pizza (lots of cheese, plus chunk sausage and green peppers) and saving them to use as part of some other meal. In addition, the cheese, while very generous (a plus) was not cooked enough: no hint of bubbly brownness. But the crust-edge was overcooked, some of it was very dark, though admittedly that did make some of it crispy!

This is my childhood stop. I fell in love with their food in the 80's and man, its been 30 years and their food is nostalgic, delicious, fresh, and made to order with smiling faces! I hope you take the time to enjoy this place as much as i have. Thank you pizza palace for remaining a great place to stop everytime i come home!Parking: Easy spot to pull up order and be HAPPY, just the smell alone will pull you off the street!

Stuffed pizzas are made without sauce on top too... not a deal breaker but it looks and tastes so wrong. Thin crust was passable. Toppings like fruit and vegetables don't taste fresh either. The pizza sauce is quite sweet, but it is the only good thing they have.Mediocre food, poor service: don't waste your time. I've always had great food from there, except for tonight, I ordered a spinach, tomato and garlic pizza, it had so much cheese on it you couldn't chew it, and the paper they wrapped it in was stuck and I was having to pick it out, and I still ended up with paper in my mouth, I'm disappointed this time Robert ? I couldn't pick it up, I had to use a fork, it was a sloppy mess

Ordered sausage/ mushroom pizza with light cheese because they overload on da cheese, I like good sauce! Cheese is cheese. Two outta last 3 times I got lotta cheese. I don't complain and wait for another zaa. I peel the cheese blanket off. Also it had no taste..bland. last time I order from there.
