Honestly the impression I got from the exterior was that this place was just a hole in the wall. Some of the best food and service I have ever experienced became apparent to me on this my first visit! Everyone was extremely friendly and inviting. Amazing cod fish and a mushroom swiss burger where the mushrooms were as thick as the burger.
I have no idea how many times they asked my wife and I if we needed anything! Great people and great food! I will be back and telling...
If you have never experienced good homestyle cooking, you need to go to the copper kettle. Such a quaint little restaurant where you know the food is good because all the regulars show up for lunch. I had Patty melt and fries on my wife had a bacon cheeseburger and fries. Both were very flavorful. Tasty. The banter back-and-forth with the staff is just one of those things that let you know. Small town living is still happening. Great place.
We ate here twice while camping at Charlestown State Park. This place is awesome, food all tastes homemade and fresh...get the cole slaw and breaded zucchini fries you won't be disappointed. They give large servings with low prices. They don't price gouge like most restaurants do now. Where else can you get a chicken dinner with 3 SIDES and a roll for under $15? I would like to see them add a couple grilled or baked seafood items and maybe a black bean burger. The...
