Best ice cream in town since I was a kid!

Amazing quality ice cream. Scoops too small and sizes incredibly confusing. Single is actually 2 little scoops and double is 4? But when you ask for double you still get 2 so idk it's always a small amount
If you're visiting anywhere near Chesterton, then I will say Dog Days is a must-stop. The flavors were fantastic and the helpings were generous. Honestly, though, the best part were the staff. I never caught their names, sadly, but the young people behind the counter were incredibly helpful in picking our options as well as giving recommendations of local spots to check out.
Friendly staff, amazing choices and a delightful little store. You dont see a lot of places like this anymore. Got a couple of banana splits and some old-fashioned soda pops! I wish I lived closer so I could come back more often!
Great service, super clean and such cute decor inside, my kids loved the train! Sooo many awesome flavors and gelato at the end! Amazing prices, can’t wait to visit again.

Very cool place for ice cream. There is a toy train that circles the dining area near the ceiling. The staff were very friendly and worked hard to serve a lot of guests.
The seats look to be taken from an old bowling alley. They're very cool.

Nice cool place lots of flavors to choose from too! The kids were very nice and helpful too. Had cool trains going around the to of the place.. Cool booths too! price was good BUT when you get a scoop.. That's what you get just a little scoop! We do ice cream a LOT usually get a bigger portion than you do here!
