FAT BURRITO CHESTERTON

The staff at Fat Burrito was fabulous at catering our graduation party! From delivery, set up, communication…everything went smooth and easy. Our food was amazing and we got compliments all day from guests about how wonderful all the food was! On a busy party day I knew the food was taken care of and my guests were happy! Thank you Fat Burrito Chesterton!

We walked in and were concerned with the smoke smell with our kids, but they assured us that it was coming from next door and took so many steps to make us more comfortable, seating us as far away from that side as possible and opening the door to allow fresh air to circulate. The food was INCREDIBLE. We got the fat burrito and chimichanga and everything was phenomenal. The queso was delicious. The servers were responsive and patient with our kiddos as they spilled a couple drinks. We were very pleased and will definitely be back.

Ordered a pork fat burrito horrible more lettuce then meat and the meat was all fatty probably never order from them again!!

I walked in and smelled nothing but smoke…I ordered the most popular items, the papas locas, and the queso Birria dinner….this place can do better…..1st it took 35min to get my order I let that slide! 2nd the rice was absolutely horrible it tasted like whatever plastic bucket they stored it in but the beans were actually good the flavor from my food was kind of bland like they are playing it safe and that’s ok but this is Authentic MEXICAN cuisine!?!? flavor should be everywhere but the consommé had a good taste for the tacos i actually ordered to go so if I was dining in I would be very disappointed I feel like this place is a coin toss I will give them another try but it will

I live down the street, so I wat hear often. Absolutely no complaints. Food is always amazing, and the service is always on point.

Fat Burrito is absolutely without a doubt the best Mexican food in the region. Tacos especially.

First I’d like to say that the staff and ladies that work and check people out when picking up orders are absolutely amazing and have even remembered my name after a few times of being in. Great atmosphere.

I work very close to Fat burrito and almost every single time I eat at the Chesterton location my socks are completely blown off… the queso is a 10/10, better and more consistent than all Mexican restaurants in the area. The tacos are by far the best in the region. I would argue that the Crown Point fat burrito is slightly more consistent regarding steak quality and preparation but Chesterton does a phenomenal job 9 times out of 10.

The Wednesday Quesabirria taco special on Wednesday is absolutely unmatched. These things are out of this world. 100/10 would recommend this place to anyone I know.

I would choose 6 fat burrito tacos, 3 steaks, 3 birrias, and a cup of queso to dunk them in as my last meal if I knew when it was going to be lol.

When you walk in you get hit with a smoke smell.. the host/ server seemed annoyed and didn't smile the entire time.. wasn't that inviting

I had the steak taco dinner Mexican style, and the tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had! The food came out quick, and the service was really good up until we were done eating. It took a while to get the bill (maybe they got busy), and you pay at the register up front. I would definitely recommend! I can’t wait to go back and try a marg. It did smell like the cigar lounge next door when we walked in, which I didn’t love. But the place was clean and updated, so I got over it.

Love this place. Burritos and mixed drinks are always excellent. Burrito portion size is huge, so plan on splitting or eating for 2 meals. I always enjoy going for a walk at the nearby Coffee Creek Preserve afterwards.

If I could give zero stars I would. They forgot a third of my order. When I called them about it they questioned if I was lying twice. Then laughed at me. Don’t go there! Way better food else where.
