I rate Italian restaurants on their ability to produce a simple plate of spaghetti. Mine came with 1/4 cup of water in the bottom of the plate. Even when I drained it off, the sauce was all texture and no taste.My guests had the pizza, which was good.

Excellent place for your favorite pizza. I had the southwest flatbread and it was delicious. The breadstick appetizer was also very tasty with just the right amount of garlic butter and zesty sauce for dipping.

This is the only pizza that I find taste the same as it always has we have tried alot of different pizza from different restaurants and the prices have gone up up up but the quality has gone down i don't know if they have switched to cheaper ingredients so their profits are more or what...hopefully Gelsosomos will keep up with the quality....

Awesome locally owned establishment. The sauce is sweet and tangy and definitely unique! I love taking my nieces and nephews here- a family favorite for sure!

Went there for their lunch buffet. It consisted of a bowl of salad breadsticks and maybe 3 different kinds of pizza. The pizza was not hot, crust wasn't cooked enough and it was rather bland. On top of that the price was outrageous for what you got. Will not be going back.

We went in to try the buffet. Had a bowl out for sald and 3 dressings, finally brought out bread sticks was good then 2 pizzas kinda a half and half on the pizzas. Food was good quality lack of options is what turned us off. We thought would be a good buffet was let down. Never restock the bread sticks. I don't know if we will be back it was around $43.00 for 3.

Had delivery. Paid on line. Driver i sisted I sign reciept for food while holding food. Other pizza places don't require on line paid for customers to sign. Pizza was cold. Called and spoke to mamager who said "sorry" . I have been ordering and going in person since 1994. I'm now officially done giving this business my money. So many other pizza places in Chesterton are happy to have my money! Good bye Gelsossomos!
This was an "accidental" visit. We were traveling on Christmas Eve and they were open. How lucky for us! I knew exactly what I wanted, so I ordered a small sausage/mushroom/ onion pie. My husband couldn't decide so he had our server choose from 3 options. She came back with a meat lovers with bbq sauce instead of pizza sauce. Both pizzas were excellent, and the service was super. I don't know if I'd have been so cheerful if I were working Christmas Eve. She kept our (very large!) cups filled with pop and checked on us a few times during the meal. And the price wasn't too bad! We'll be adding Gelsosomo's to our routine when traveling back and forth between Michigan and Wisconsin. Thank you so much!

Hands down the best deep dish pizza I have ever had. Far better than the tourist trap in Chicago called Uno's. I was very surprised that when I would take a slice it would cool down almost instantly making it easy to eat. Even though I live quite a distance away from this place, I will definitely make sure I come back because it is worth the drive and every penny.

Never been here before. I attended a Christmas party with about 40 people. Got seated in a large room, got my drink within minutes. Ordered food as part of a group. It did not take long for food to arrive. It was hot and delicious. I had stuffed ravioli and a salad. Yummmmmm.
