I've been meaning to leave a review for so long and I finally remembered to take a picture before I started shoveling food into my face!
Lemon Tree is my favorite local restaurant for a number of reasons
1. The menu is plentiful and has a good variety of flavor options.
2. Everything is consistently good (you MUST try the falafel)
3. Portion sizes are consistently good.
4. The staff is ALWAYS kind and helpful.
5. They have GF pita that is actually GOOD!
When you want something that isn't a sandwich, taco, or pizza, this place definitely scratches that itch.

Great food!! Young lady behind the counter was very helpful explaining the gluten free options to me and I was happy to see that only 2 items were completely off limits. Chicken lemon rice soup wasnt my favorite, but it wasn’t bad either. The shawarma rice bowl was very fresh and tasty. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

The Mediterranean food here is really good. I like to get the chicken shawarma wrap with hummus, carrot slaw, tahini and garlicy garlic sauce.

Tried for the first time today and I’m in love! The flavor and freshness of everything was perfect. Good selection too, and the place itself is super clean and cute! Probably the best hummus I’ve had so far, definitely wish I found this spot sooner!

The Bowl was really good! Nice and balanced and wonderful actually. My stars came off when I went to eat my soup and it was cold. They had just opened so I am assuming that’s why but you guys have to make sure that food comes up to temp before it hits to line. But overall good.

The food was outstanding. The service was excellent. It was our first time eating there, so the associate explained the process very good. I highly recommend this place to eat.

Cute little place with great food. We had not eaten at a place like this before. You choose a bowl with rice, salad or a wrap. Then pick a protein, two sides and any sauce or extra veggies. A warm pita is also available with your meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The hummus was a bit spicy, but very delicious. I wish we had a place like this at home.

Came here after a strenuous hike at the dunes. I enjoyed my chicken bowl and lentil soup. This is a great stop whether you're local or just passing through!
I have eaten at the restaurant many times and the food is delicious. My daughter wanted Mediterranean food for her family birthday gathering. I ordered the party platter for 10. Oh my, I’m sure I could have fed 15-20 because the amount of food was very generous! It was delicious and it included paper plates, napkins and serving utensils. I highly recommend their caterining menus!

We went there some years back and didn't care for the food. Tried it again this trip and liked it quite a lot. They have a nice patio with umbrella tables, and there are many very yummy food choices. We were put off by the locked doors to the patio. To get in or out you had to wind around to other doors. Inconvenient, and serious fire hazard!

Lemon Tree is one of my favorite places to get food from in Chesterton. I usually build a bowl with the jasmine rice, chicken shawarma, and then load it with the veggie toppings. Their food is fresh and light, which is perfect for a healthier take out meal.
