The manager was our server, he was knowledgeable and let me make a scallop appetizer into a meal. My husband had stuffed shells which he also really enjoyed. The ghost rider wine was very nice. Tiramisu was quite good as well. In all, a total thumbs up!!

It's been 20 years since I've eaten at Luzrezia's! The food, staff, and dining/bar area is just as wonderful as 20 years ago!! I had the Fettucine, and a sample of my friends cucumber & tomato salad.... both were exceptional! Our waiter was a terrific young man I think named Isadorio, and a nice young lady kept us in cheese and black pepper! A truly wonderful experience, and trust me when I say it will not be 20 years before I return!! Thank you to everyone there for a fabulous meal!

I was in with my husband and our 1 year old daughter for our first Valentine’s Day. We came in about 4:30pm for our dinner. We received our appetizer special right away but it was very bland and not impressive. We then waited an hour and 45 minutes for our food to come out, while everyone who came in after us got their food before us. When our food did come out only the salmon was hot and all the rest of the food was barely room temperature. I had asked the server before he brought our food if we were forgotten but he insisted we weren’t, yet every table in the room got their meals first and they came in after us and we ordered before them. An hour and 45 minutes is a lot for a toddler and we have never had to wait so long anywhere. Plus receiving the food at room temperature is not something I’m use to, nor feel comfortable with since I am pregnant. On top of that our bill was $179! I can’t believe those prices for something less than impressive! My husband ended up having to leave with the toddler in hopes of us getting faster service & because we wore out her patience & his. I’m very disappointed in our dinner and I was looking forward to coming to the restaurant for weeks. We tried to give them an opportunity to rectify the situation but was ghosted. We won’t be rushing back & I don’t recommend going as the food was less than mediocre. Still waiting on that email. We can come discuss in person, I’d love to hear what the other side of the story sounds like.Kid-friendliness: Food took way too long to be a kid friendly environment!

Phenomenal chicken vesuvio...including the grilled vegetables on the side. The ambiance and assortment of wine is a plus

Food and service are great. It's a shame that it's jammed into a tiny rustic style house. A bit more space would serve them well.

After living in Chesterton for over ten years, I finally decided to see what this little restaurant was like. My guest and I dined on a Friday evening. We were promptly seated. Our server, Chris, was amazing. He was attentive and knowledgeable about all menu items. He even recommended signature cocktails. My guest began with a potato mushroom soup. It was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, it was a very small quantity served in a bowl that had an excessively wide brim. This gave the illusion of having a decent sized bowl of soup when, in fact, it may have fallen short of even a cup. The entrees ordered were lamb shank and grouper. They were good, but not fantastic. Due to the fact that the dishes were pricey, I had expected the food to be fantastic. Sadly, it was just okay.I am glad we dined here. I can now say that I have been to Lucrezia's. I can also say that it is unlikely to happen again. Everything was priced three times higher than what it should've been. This led me to expect that everything would taste three times better as well. Nope. Just regular dishes at insane prices.

Good service, my dish was served hot on the edges, cold in the center.. lasagna (which leads me to believe it made early/possibly frozen, warmed up and served. ) Waiter, offered me a free dessert.. I declined, a free glass of wine - I declined as I didn't need either. The dish was warmed up and served properly.

Too small of a building for the amount of guests they cram in . We did carry out . Meals super expensive comes with zero salad or soup. $75 for two meals and a dessert. The terimisu must be there own recipe . It's tasted good for a dessert just not like terimisu. Service was super nice. Stairs going into building need to have salt at all times. Someone is going to fall. After eating the food we got the worst stomach aches and after effects.

Little hole in the wall itallian spot. Great service and great good. I had the boneless braised short ribs with mushroom risotto and the vegetable of the day (which happened to be a vegetable medley). I am not a vegetable person, but I absolutely ate the whole plate. The short ribs were tender, juicy, and delicious, sitting in top of the risotto, which was absolutely fire. I almost liked it more than the short rib. The vegetable medley was drizzled in a sauce that was smokey and sweet, I'm not sure what it was but it made me enjoy the veggies. Be sure to checkout this spot if you're in town.

Lucrezia's is in a converted house, so the dining rooms are cozy in the winter, but they do have patio seating in the warmer months. Lucretia's is a fantastic restaurant. They have a regular menu, but they always have daily specials for appetizers, main entrees, and desserts. We have been eating there for years and they never disappoint!Vegetarian options: There is always an option for meat, fish, or vegetarian entree. The same is true for appetizers and salads.

This place is unbelievable, went there a couple month ago and had bad shrimp, freshness (frozen product and bad waaaw !)Ok tonight, for my birthday, lets give them another chance.Went there around 6:45 with family (5 pers), dining rooms not crowded at all, a lot of room/seating free. The waitress told us there was a wait time of 20 to 30 min …… with so many tables available !!!A world record. We decided not to wait the good will of the lazy crew and left.So don’t worry guy’s we wont disturb you anymore, you lost 5 customers today !
