Musashi Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar

Stopped by randomly for dinner during a road trip. This hole in the wall place had incredibly fresh fish. The nigiri we had, both the hamachi and the sake were delicate, and delicious. We took a chance on the Autumn Lemon Role which was a real surprise with the thinnest of lemon slices giving each bite a wonderful zest. I think this is the second review I’ve ever written in the past decade. It’s good, very good. You should try it.

We stopped by on our way back to chicago. Service was friendly quick and food was fresh. Tempura was yummy! Would recommend if in the area and looking to support this family owned business.

I had a taste for Japanese food. I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi. It was bland. Tasted like they put a little sauce on it. It said it had vegetables but it only had a little zucchini. My husband had Udon soup. It had good flavor. I felt it was a little pricy for the quality. I would not come back.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! My hubby and we were on our honeymoon and headed back home. We were starving and I said sushi! I'm hungry for sushi! He had a veggie noodle dish and said it was delicious and big portions! He took half of it with him! I had a California roll and veggie tempura, sooo good!! Totally hit the spot! Great service and quite busy little place while we were there

I have ordered sushi from her for the past 4 years and it's always been amazing. However last night I placed an order 20 minutes before closing and was given the WORST sushi ever. It was thrown together as of the order was a problem because they were closing. When I called to let them know this morning they had every excuse in the book including that somehow it was my fault because of how I carried the sushi. Never once peeing to replace it now refunded it. Unbelievable!!!! I could have gone and bought grocery store sushi for $5 that would have been better!!!

literally everything is perfect and as a sushi lover, the sushi is absolutely delicious. no joke, I could eat over 20 of their rolls with no problem.
