Anyone with young kids will love this diner. Anyone who appreciates an authentic non-Waffle house cookie cutter chain restaurant will love this diner. Coffee cups always full, B&G is the best on the planet , and if you dont leave without a smile you're probably just a big ole stick in the mud. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a unique dining experience that will take you back to a bygone era.

Such a fun place! Peggy Sue's is a very charming old school diner with 1950s vibes in the cute town of Chesterton, Indiana! They do classic breakfast and lunch in a simple but yummy way! The staff is very nice...and lots of smiles!

My two girls and I have been coming here since they were babies, they are 11 and 9 now. They look forward to seeing Peggy and the same staff she’s retained for years. As a single mother on a budget, I can’t thank her enough for keeping her prices and quality the same in this challenging economy as it’s something we look forward to without overextending our budget.

The food was ok. Although, the ham & bean soup was delish.
It's a small place, cute atmosphere but sooo Loud! I'm assuming it was the owner bc all I heard 10x was she was headed to the gym and her voice holy cow, bring it down a few notches.
Our waitress was very good. We definitely won't be back, what a shame bc we were really looking forward to it.
Kinda hard to get into bldg, so idk if u had a wheelchairs if it would be possible.

The Staff is amazingly friendly. Sydney took care of me. The food is made fresh to order. I had biscuits and gravy with ham and cheese omelet with a side of hasbrowns. Everything came out together hot and fresh. I really recommend this diner

This is a cute little diner. We stopped for breakfast before hitting the road after spending a few days in the area. There is a mural of route 66 on one wall. Another wall is covered with different license plates. The food was good and the price was lower than chain restaurants. The place was full so you know the food must be good.

Quaint, retro style ma and pop type restaurant. Excellent food and friendly small town service. My husband and I enjoyed our breakfast and recommend eating here.
