The brisket is moist succulent and fall’s apart goodness. Their potato parsley chive is beyond good! Definitely recommend!

We are stop. For a bbq the place in the middle of Road 20 he was our destination definitely don’t get us disappointed, beautiful rips very good flavors and also what I always love to eat. Ripped tips was here. The only thing don’t forget when you come into this place do not go to get disappointed and flavor, service and location because is very cozy and very in the middle of the nowhere enjoy and the barbecue outside in the patio but remember to bring cash because he’s cash only there’s only thing thank God that they we occurring cash and we stop next time. We definitely unrecommended. Don’t forget your cash.

So good! Probably some of the best brisket I’ve ever had. Sauces were great, potato’s were great. Wish we would have got the ribs. Again- some of the BEST brisket we have ever had. Great prices, great portions, great little place!

*** This is NOT Southern BBQ. The food is lacking in flavor and SMOKE. You’d think that being called Smokey’s the food would reflect that. I was so excited because this place is highly reviewed, I just never had cash on me. Well on the day I finally did, Smokey’s was the first place I wanted to eat at. I did live in the south for 5+ years and got to experience the very best but also the worst. Let me tell y’all, Buccees has more flavor than this place. I ordered rib tips and brisket, first thing I noticed- no smoke! Before I put the sauce on the meat, I tried it, it was very watery and bland. One rib tip was completely inedible because of all the fat, I understand that there’s some fat but lord have mercy these were sloppy. The sides are mediocre, nothing to write home about, still had to add salt and pepper.
Luckily it wasn’t horribly expensive otherwise I would’ve been upset but, I had my hopes up only for them to be crushed.
Food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is quaint. The waitress was very friendly. Highly recommend!

The service was very good, and the food came out fast. The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect from a out of the way BBQ joint. It was welcoming and inviting. Few seats outside and a small dining room.
The food, while it looked good it lacked any flavor. There was no smoke ring or bark on the brisket, the pulled pork was dry, the baked beans tasted like they came out of the can, the shining star was the potato salad. It alone was was yummy. A saying I heard years ago is "Sauce is used to cover up bad BBQ" The brisket and pork needed a lot of sauce to give it flavor, and even then the sauce was not that good.
