We were here on 9/4/2025 around lunch time. I ordered the brisket sandwich with the potatoes for my side. My mom ordered the same but with coleslaw and my Aunt ordered the rib tips with green beans. There were 4 different sauces on the table. A mild vinegar base, a hot vinegar base, a spicy mustard sauce and a sweet sauce. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the food was good. All the sauces were also good. The brisket was tender and had a good flavor. The rib tips were very good and paired well with the mustard sauce. If you're passing by on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday give this place a try.

Without a doubt the best brisket sandwich anywhere. I will be back as soon as possible to get some more. My wife had the Itallian beef and it is also the best I've tried anywhere. We both had the sweet tea and it was on par with our food. Fast and friendly.

Always love stopping here on my way through. Bring cash! There are no credit cards accepted. Food is Devine, & the coleslaw was super fresh 😋 👌 smokey delicious BBQ with all the right southern flavor.
You want a local BBQ that stands out this is your place. Had lunch and food was fantastic along with the recommendation for chocolate pecan pie. Service was fast and food was exceptional. One caveat is you need to bring cash as they don't take debit/credit cards. Will visit again when in Michigan City. Well done and keep serving great food.
