the speedway in brockport ny has an extremely toxic work environment. my wife quit due to harassment from a coworker and then her pay was withheld due to the color of her skin. what a terrible place and people.

Horrible place to work, if you actually pay attention, they treat their employees horribly!
They took all benefits away and made them only yearly. They can deny requests off up to the day off BUT you can’t roll over PTO (vacation included))?!
Drama is x10 in this company, they hire bodies and accept no call no shows but force the good employees to come in or it’s their job!
You can spend years fighting for this company and they throw you out like an unwanted pet.
It’s ran unprofessionally and policies are always changing (yes! Meaning you are told one thing and if it isn’t right, sorry you take the fall! Maybe next time champ!)
They say seniority matters but they play favorites.
They use the excuse 7-11 bought out speedway but they did that 3 years ago, taking away employee benefits and extra positions needed to save a couple thousand a year, is hurting the current employees working 8-10 hour shifts alone and pulling doubles with families at home!!!

Since 7-Eleven has bought the speedway brand and taken over the gas stations, the quality has completely diminished across the board at the stations. They should be ashamed of themselves.

worked there 3rd shif they ripped me off a dollar every hour for a month and a half to 2 months will walk all over you treat you like crap won't give you any raises and claim its a career false not a career a career is a place that gives you raises for you work this place no more work = more money nooooo do it for the same amount you made off the bat in my town they the lowest paying gas station

The Speedway in Chesterton on Gateway Blvd has the best employees working the late shift! Thank you for being there not only my car, but having the Cafe where you can get tasty food made fresh for you even at midnight served with a smile!

After being completely ignored at BigB Coffee around the corner (the place was not busy, just sayin) we stopped in here and got the best coffee in Chesterton.
