Stopped in for a beer and bite to eat. Staff was friendly and the food was good. We're locals but had never stopped in. The pub is upstairs so you don't really know what to expect until you get to the top and I think that had deterred us. We were glad we decided to make the short climb. It was actually the sidewalk sign that got our attention - good idea! We will definitely stop in again.
Though I've not been to Ireland, this pub has an authentic feel. They do a great pour of Guinness. Owner and his customers are supportive of the community which is always a reason to support them.
Great Irish pub! The owners are local and tied well into their community, often there to welcome you personally. Non smoking, but it's easy to step outside for one if you want. There is often live, local music to enjoy. All in all, a great place to grab a drink and have some good company.
