George’s gyros is the best place to eat in Chesterton, Indiana in my opinion. They have a “quad burger” that is absolutely to die for. I love grabbing that with some mushrooms and onions on it, with a side of cheese fries & a chili cheese dog! Their gyros are on point and Italian beef is excellent. The crew does a fantastic job feeding me excellent food at a reasonable price. George’s Gyros FTW all day, any day! Whoop!

My first time here and I'm blown away by how big my portion was. Seriously I was hurting trying to get it all down. The flat was excellent, I only had a gyro and fries so far. The staff was friendly right when I walked in. I will definitely be coming back.

I've been going to this place since I was a little girl (in the original building) and I've always loved it! It's always been a popular place for us locals and I know when people come from far away they also make sure to stop by! Paul always makes sure to say hi and it was nice to see Shaina too (and a couple new faces 😀)! Myself and my family are lifelong fans ❤️

I ordered a gyro sandwich and was amazed by the portions and the great presentation of the food I was given. This was very short-lived; unfortunately, I have tried a lot of great small businesses and am usually amazed by their food. I love supporting different cultures and their unique foods. The mixture of disappointment from the dry gyro meat & the foul-tasting tzatziki with the soggy tomatoes. Combining all of this with the sloppy, soggy pita bread and the ENTIRE non-shredded stick of feta cheese. I did enjoy the steak fries and onions, but sadly, that is the only thing I could compliment about this establishment. There is a spot in Valparaiso about 20 minutes away called King Gyros, and in comparison, I would have to say they top any gyro place I have ever tried in the 219 region. Overall would have loved to leave a better review, but I have to be transparent and honest to the people planning on spending their hard-earned money for a bite to eat. By no means am I undermining any of the staff there; it was a swift transaction process and a calm environment. I hope that in the future this establishment could make some changes to further continue their restaurant and business.

Lemon rice soup is the BEST. Haven't had a bad meal yet. Worth getting and reasonably priced.
