First visit & they indicated the menu was new. Has several vegan option. Offers fresh squeezed OJ from machine. Had the Carrot Zinger juice, including carrot, ginger lime & apple. Was really good & heavy with ginger, which I love. Ordered the Forest Hash with mushrooms, leaks potatoes & peas. Replaced the eggs with curried tofu scramble.for $1.50 upcharge. I was a little apprehensive about the curry part of the scramble but ended up really liking it. Was a creamy comforting flavor. There were some reviews indicating portions were not enough, but it seems they have improved this because we were satisfied. Specials included Vegan Blueberry BBQ jackfruit sandwich and vegetable soup. I included a few pics of the menu, but a few Vegan items to note are oatmeal, scrambles, vegan chili, falafel sandwich, portabella salad (- cheese & dressing..have to ask for vegan dressing options).

Great spot! Try a Harney & Sons tea with your meal.

We had lunch with friends when we visited and it was awesome. Small place, but very good food. Great customer service.. recommend trying half sandwich and half salad, portions are very generous. We recommended and we will return on our next visit to Chesterton.

This place was meh but has gotten better. They could stand to hire some more industrious waitresses but it’s not terrible.

Vegetarian options: Vegan options, dairy alternatives, etc.

Dietary restrictions: Lots of options like gluten free, vegan, etc.

Kid-friendliness: They used to have toys but not after the pandemic. Not unfriendly to kids

Big nice selection for those of us with dietary challenges. Even lots of drinks options. Dog friendly outside seating!! Our family would recommend this place. Gluten free and dairy free friendly that is yummy.
PS get the loaf of gluten free bread!!

Dietary restrictions: Yes, that is moist and o so good gluten free bread. Gluten free brownie, dairy free menu items, real food. Yummy food!

I stopped for breakfast while traveling. Splurged on the raspberry cheesecake stuffed French toast. If I had known how AMAZING it was I would have taken a photo. EAT HERE!!

Service is good but that was about all there was to this place.

If you’re looking for mediocre, expensive breakfast/brunch/lunch, this is your place.

We paid $14 for 2 pancakes that tasted like eggs. They only offer pork based meat products with the exception of corned beef hash that is gamy.

We walked in just at lunch rush on a Friday, the place was packed so we figured that’s a good sign and were willing to wait. The servers and host/bussers were doing a great job seating people and getting the job done. We waited a long time for our food and it was just not all that. My daughter was happy with her Durango chicken sandwich. The bison burger was a dry gray puck, and yes I know bison is lean but the preparation didn’t do any favors here. And the BLT was straight up gross. The lettuce and tomato were *cooked* (the tomato was still hot) and bathed in what looked like fry sauce. So slimy! The bread they used was good. The fries were mediocre. I had been hoping for like a healthy place with some nice veggies on my sandwich but it was just a diner with better bread.
