What a shame! This place has really gone downhill. I have been here many times and today after having a horrible experience, I will not be going back. I rarely complain about poor experiences, but this was beyond bad. Food tasted disgusting and the only thing that was more sour was our waitress's response. When I told her I did not like the food, her response was " at least now you know." I was floored because she left the table immediately after saying this. She didn't even offer to get me something different, which I would have wanted. I did not want to leave hungry, but I did. Never again.

Awesome food! Service was friendly and I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

If you want a good breakfast, just go down the street to the Sun Rise Restaurant. Three of us decided to try the Third Coast Spice Cafe and the first thing I noticed was the prices on the menu and so did the two dining with me. We were all three like WOW look at the prices! They are out of control way to high! Service was fine but it took a while to get our food compared to any other restaurant, we go to like Susie's Cafe in Valparaiso and Tates in Portage two of our favorite places to eat Breakfast. I ordered the Over easy Eggs, Ham and hash browns. The eggs were runny whites, and the ham was a thin round piece of ham, and it was maybe an 1/8 thick and was like shoe leather. The hash browns tasted like grease, and I also had them bring me a side cup of gravy which I like to taste at any new place I go and generally like to put them on my hash browns. The gravy arrives almost cold and very thick like it was setting up. Hated the taste of it and so did the other two eating with me. I'm always dumbstruck when a breakfast place can't make a simple good tasting sausage gravy. I do it at home all the time and it comes out great and I don't do it for a living. To sum it up none of us liked our breakfast and the only thing that was good was the toast and my wife's sliced tomatoes!!!! Just a regular cup of coffee was like $3.50. I would have rather had a cup of coffee at the Speedway across the street which tastes better. We ended up with a bill over $60.00 not including tip for three breakfast entrees and a side cup of gravy. Don't waste your hard-earned money here till they wake up and serve a better quality of food and taste or go out of business. I'm a foodie and like a nice restaurant to go to just like anyone else but this one needs to do better for sure and be more reasonable price wise or they will pay the price.

If you’re looking for a place that accommodates dietary needs, aka celiac, gluten sensitivity this your place. Food was wonderful, services was great, our waitress was able to answer my questions and didn’t make me feel like a burden. And the atmosphere is soft!

Best place for breakfast in Chesterton hands down. We eat here every time we're in town visiting family and are never let down. We've always been sat quickly and the service is always great and attentive. Food is tremendous and reasonably priced. I probably like the blueberry pancakes best but, honestly, everything I've had on the menu u is awesome. Fresh squeezed OJ is a must. Honestly don't go anywhere else in town for breakfast. This is where I grew up and so I've been to all the places and you can't do any better than this place.

Vegetarian options are amazing! Falafel burger on a pretzel bun. Yum! Omelette with gads of add-ons without any additional cost. Also very good . Highly recommend.

I heard your add on a radio. I chose to try it since I have breakfast often in the area. Unfortunately, this restaurant is priced out of my league. For $13.95 for 2 eggs, 2 bacon, hash browns and 1 slice of toast. Coffee $3.25 nearly $19 (inc tax) for this. Other restaurants in the area are significantly less and give at least 2 slices of bread and 3 to 4 slices of bacon.

I recently dined at Third Coast, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The service was notably slow; it took over 10 minutes for us to even receive water, during which time the staff appeared more engaged in their own conversations and meals than attending to customers. This lack of attention wasn't unique to us, as I noticed another group experiencing similar service issues. Cleanliness also seemed to be a concern. Each cup we were given had visible dirty stains and soap marks, which is unacceptable in any dining establishment. Regarding the food, it was extremely bland and uninspiring, reminiscent of what you might expect from a mediocre chain restaurant. The lack of flavor and quality was surprising and disappointing, especially considering the price. For a simple meal consisting of eggs, bacon, toast, and hash browns for two, the bill came to nearly $50. This is steep, especially when compared to other local spots like Viking Chili Bowl or Maple and Bacon, where I've enjoyed far better meals at half the price. Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as there's certainly much room for improvement in both service and culinary quality.

I love coming to this place because breakfast is always delicious ! I got the Golden latte and Archie's special. The food was very well prepared and the latte had some black pepper in it and turmeric that is so unique I just love ordering it every time. They have great options for kids to order and everyone always comes out satisfied. I love that you can also choose the pastures they have in front of you want something off the menu. Parking is super convenient as it's located in a little strip. Service is always great and we get our food right away. This is such a cute place for breakfast and quality food!

Third Coast Spice Cafe: A Delightful Breakfast Haven I recently stopped by Third Coast Spice Cafe for a quick breakfast and it was a wonderful experience. The cafe exudes a cozy and trendy vibe, making it a pleasant spot to spend some time. They offer a variety of gourmet coffees and teas, which are perfect for starting the day on a high note. The menu has a fine selection of dishes. I chose the Farmer's Omelette accompanied by avocado, wheat toast, and hash browns. The omelette was packed with flavor, and the avocado added a nice creamy touch. The wheat toast was a healthier choice that didn't compromise on taste, and the hash browns were crispy and delicious. Although the prices were a bit on the higher side for my usual breakfast budget, the quality of the food and the overall dining experience made it feel worthwhile. The coffee, in particular, was fresh, hot, and hit the spot. The service at Third Coast Spice Cafe was impressively speedy and efficient, ideal for anyone in a hurry. The restaurant's cleanliness, including the restrooms, added to the comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It's also a kid-friendly and family-friendly establishment, making it a great choice for diners of all ages. Overall, Third Coast Spice Cafe is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a quality breakfast in a welcoming environment. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's definitely worth a visit.

Lovely little breakfast/brunch joint. Prices are fair and the quality is above typical diner food. Vegetarian options are available. Coffee is top notch. I plan to make this place a regular spot.
