Val's Famous Pizza & Grinders

Aliyah was an amazing waitress. It was incredibly busy for a Tuesday night but she kept her head held high! She kept our drinks full and served our food hot. We would love to have her as our server every time!!

Came here tonight for a birthday party and omg the food was excellent! The staff was so kind and helpful! We enjoyed pizza, grinders, etc 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

First time, graduated from this town but never been before. 10/10 nieces birthday party was catered to on a busy Saturday. Great food great atmosphere at unreal price. Will be back 100%

spagoni chicken and broccoli was brought to the table with the chicken and broccoli sitting on top of the dish with cold chicken and broccoli still raw waitress took back said that the ingredients were inside of the bowl and received the same bowl just barely warm with very little what looked like ramen with the bread bowl hard as a rock and then was offered a discount of $ 1.06 never again was first time leaving the restaurant still hungry

Don't be fooled. If you're an avid traveler you know that often sooner of the best places are off the beaten path! This was the case here. Superb food and service and I mean superb. 💯 Recommend checking them out!

This was our first, but definitely not last, visit to Val's. Our server was really friendly, and the food was perfect! We will definitely be back again and again! Highly recommend this place! The bacon and cheddar tater kegs were amazing, and the Italian beef grinder was the best!

Excellent place for a good meals, The pizza is excellent,lots of topping menu is very Nice and the price is right. Thanks to Christy for her services and her hospitality. A place I would recommand if your passing by.

Was very happy to enjoy a delicious pizza. One with a tangy sauce, instead of the unfortunately, more frequent sweet sauces other pizzaeriss use.

My pizza was also very well cooked, bringing out the flavors an undercooked pizza wouldn’t achieve.

It’s always satisfying to support a locally owned small business, and that’s Val’s Pizza. One of Chesterton, Indiana‘s true gems.

The food is great. The sandwiches are huge. The pizza is really good. Great crust and fair amount of toppings. I only give them a 4 because of the location. They don't deliver to my house and between the trains, traffic and stop signs I hate driving through downtown Chesterton.
