I'm late in posting this review for Heroes Family Bistro and Pub Churubusco. We had a gathering there in January after the funeral for my husband. I had talked to them the day before and gave them my guess as to how many people might be there. It turned out to be more people than I thought. That didn't stop Tim and his staff from accommodating the unexpected crowd. They made sure everyone had a place to sit, kept the salad and pizza buffet stocked, and everyone's drinks filled. The food was amazing! Everyone was impressed with how they managed to keep up and still be polite and professional. I will be forever grateful to Heroes Family Bistro and Pub Churubusco for making the end of a hard day a good experience. I highly recommend stopping by for good food and a welcoming environment!

Pizza and wings tasted ok. Not anything special. Pizza had a lot of green olives. Ordered 2 medium pizzas and wings and had sticker shock when they told me the price! Wings cost as much as the 2 pizzas. Too expensive for what we are use to. ($73) At least we had enough leftovers for my husband's lunch one day.

One of the few existing pizza buffet restaurants in the area and truly a great place. Pizza is amazing. Very fresh homemade dough and fresh ingredients. Great food. Great prices. Nice people. Highly recommend.

Tried it for the first time last night for a carry out order. The pan pizza was VERY good with a crispy crust on the bottom and lots of cheese on top. My husband said his grinder was pretty good. I got a cheeseburger and next time I’ll probably stick with the pizza. My bun was more on the burnt side than toasted and it tasted like a frozen, machine formed patty. We’ll definitely be back for the pizza!

Great pizza, crust and ingredients was excellent. Looking forward to trying deep dish and sausage roll in future visits. Well worth the drive from Fort Wayne. Clean and nice place. Happy to be new patrons of this establishment.

We ordered for the very first time a pizza to go. It had plenty of ingredients and plenty of cheese. It was very good. It has more ingredients on a pizza that we've had in a long time. The crust was done perfectly. Now I'm excited to go in for buffet. Thank you.

Heroes makes the best pizza in Churubusco quickly, at a reasonable price.
One of the best calzonnes I've ever had. Fresh ingredients with the chef's own spin on some of the seasoning. Only been here once but look forward to bringing friends up from Fort Wayne. They really try hard to feed people quality food in a comfortable setting.

I would call it a stretch to call what they have a pizza bar. They really didn't want to bring out more pizza till the "bar" was about empty. The draft beer wasn't really cold and cost more then bottled beer. Not a fan.
