What can I say, a small town historic diner, a nostalgic, walk up type sandwich shop with the ice cream , shakes and floats to top it off! Inside dining or sit on the patio!Great food, good prices and always plenty of smiles!!Parking: Plenty of parking but it does get busy and at times there are very few spots left!
Good food and good portions our watress was very attentive.family orientedParking: They have their own parking lot.Kid-friendliness: The decore is clowns.they have coloring pages.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs good flat .plenty of room.

Small town, and a greasy spoon. What goes better than that? The Magic wand manages to hold against the dirges of time with an old timer diner feel. You're greeted after seating yourself. The portions are good size and filling. While not particularly anything to write home about in terms of uniqueness. Your typical diner fare in the Midwest. It's hearty and filling, but not five star dining. You can see the kitchen from the backless stools at the diner bar, and hear the banter of the cooks. If you're hungry and looking for an authentic diner experience, check it out.
Watched the cook behind the counter, making burgers touching raw meat - then immediately touching raw veggies for the burgers; the lettuce, tomatoes. Finally, watched him put on gloves - only to continue doing the same thing. Handling raw meat, then cutting and handling raw veggies. Watched him use the same gloves to remove the veggies that were not to be put on our burger from our burger.

This place was awesome! The food was mouth-wateringly good, my husband had the tenderloin and fries he brought home half a sandwich which he doesn't normally do. I myself at the double cheeseburger and fries the decor is awesome if you like clowns myself love clown figurines I don't collect them but I love looking at them they remind me of an old friend of the family where I spent many Summers of my childhood, and then in my adult years eating at her restaurant Verna"s in Chandlerville Illinois. I love this place and will go back

Usually like the Wand, but today we got the fish special and the fish was overcooked, dry and chewy. Not worth eating. Had to send it back. Also, $60 for 4 people and everyone drank water. Seems like they have really jacked up the prices to the point where it is worth it to drive by and eat in Fort Wayne.
