My family and I have been coming to El Azteca since I was little. The food and the service have always been excellent. When I think of going out for dinner with my family, I always picture El Azteca—always. Highly recommended 👌👌

Have been a loyal customer for years, but this time I discovered after receiving my credit card bill that my 19% tip had been increased by restaurant staff. When I called the manager, he found my transaction in his records but said I would need to make a trip back to the restaurant to receive the amount the staff had added to my check. We don't live very close to do that. I don't know why he wouldn't just notify the credit card company to post the credit to my account. He also said he would call me back after looking into the matter with his staff, but he has not. Such a shame -- he has lost our business and we are telling our friends who live in that area of his poor treatment of customers.

We placed a carryout order for Cinco de Mayo. We had the Burros Cortes Grande and an ala cart order of Shredded Chicken Tacos, a Pork Burrito and Fried Beans. The meals were very tasty and the portions were generous. We had hoped to find some chips and salsa in the bag, but nada. Maybe you have to ask for them even though the online menu indicates they are complimentary. The order was there when we arrived. Service was fine.

First of all the food was plated well, which can be tricky for Mexican cuisine. Every bite was cooked properly and mouth watering delicious. The place was clean and attention staff. There is outside patio area in the front parking lot, which would be good for cooler evening and drinks. The inside the bar does have tables but is separate from the main dining room. If your in or around Clarksville, stop by this shopping plaza for good eats!

After living in New Mexico for45 years, El Azteca comes closest to capturing the flavors of New Mexican Spanish food. Great staff, lots of staff, quality food, good sized portions at a reasonable price.

The chips and salsa here are good here. I ordered the combination fajitas, chicken and steak and they were very, very skimpy with the meat and veggies. I’ve never seen such few veggies and meat given for a fajita dish before. I would not recommend ordering the fajitas here! The sangria was very good!! In fact, I’m not sure that I would come back here. (The last time there was an issue also!) Time to find another mexican restaurant. ?

We celebrated a special occasion this week with a takeout order from our favorite Mexican restaurant, El Azteca in Clarksville, MD. The crab and Shrimp Enchiladas, one of our favorite dishes, was delicious, as always; Burrito Cortes Grande, a dish we had not previously tried, was a terrific addition, one that we will certainly order again. Our celebration was ordered and paid for on-line, and ready in less than 15 minutes (I received an "it's ready for pick-up" text, including a phone number to call when I arrived). Easy all the way!
