Just bad. Has gone way downhill. Small burgers. Cold fries. Terrible decision. Would not go again

I have taken my cross country team to the Red Robin in Clarksville, Indiana for 3 of the past 4 years after our meet in Louisville. It would have been 4 of the last 4 years if Covid had not happened. I bring anywhere from 25-30 people and they have always been accommodating and they rock it out. They have great customer service, we are in and out of there in about as fast as you can feed 25 people as possible. We will continue to stop here every year. The general manager, and I am sorry I forgot her name but she is from California, and her staff was amazing!

Ordered a Simply Grilled Chicken evidently it’s not simple. Chicken was burnt and the garlic fries was not cooked all the way throughNO ONE made the order right or even asked what we can do to make it better. BETTER SERVICE. Make my food Correctly

Ask for a sweet tea. Tea was not sweet. Waitress said she would sweeten it. Took drink too the back poured a sugar packet over the tea and brought it back out. Sugar literally poured over the ice. Food took over 45 minutes. One other table in the entire restuarant. Burger wasn't cooked the way I asked, came out wrong, with the wrong toppings and burnt. It was inedible. Manager said she would cover my "meal" which I never ate. Still charged me for my soda. No apologies, didn't bother to make amends. Would she have called the cops if I left without getting any food? Worst experience I've had in years. No way they will ever get my business back in the future. On a positive note. My LC Hot-N-Ready was cooked perfectly and was delicious.

Brought my granddaughter for a special date. The positive is the burgers were perfect. However, service was slow, ( 1 server for the entire dining room), slow getting food and the server took several minutes before bringing the mustard and no drink refills. Not cool. Might try take out. Not going to dine-in again.

Horrible service! I had to flag down the waitress any time I needed anything. It took 20mins to get burgers and fries. Their bottom less fries only came with 10 fries! And by the time you got service and got them delivered you were already finished with your meal and didn't want them. I've posted picture of my untouched serving of fries.Update: 7/23/22After 4 years we decided to give them another chance. The service is still just as bad! The restaurant is also very dirty. They sat us at table where the floor in front of it was so loaded with spilled soda that my flip flop stuck and came off my foot. The waitress told us it had been that way for awhile and there was nothing they could do about it. We were the 3rd seating so the restaurant had plenty of seating. Why would you put customers in your dingiest spot? We waited over 40mins for 2 burgers and 2 kids meals. They were taking so long that the waitress ended up bringing us the kids food first and then 10mins later they brought ours. Finally got my food anf fries are wrong. Sent back and then burger was wrong. The fix and bring it back then I notice my burger is wrong too! I ordered a special menu burger and they sent a plain cheeseburger with bacon. Gave up after that and just asked to have my meal removed from the bill. After that fiasco the server didn't want to come back to our table so we had to ask another server to bring us our bill. Since the server was avoiding us we couldn't get refills on drinks or the "bottomless" fries and children's sides. We couldn't even enjoy the perk which the company prides themselves on. Save yourself a headache and just avoid this place. We should have known better when at noon on a Saturday there was only 4 cars in the parking lot.

Was in Clarksville shopping for the day and wanted a burger. Pulled in at 4:300pm and the lot only has 3 cars in the lot which I found odd. They were closing the restaurant at 4:30 on a Saturday night!

No one there working while still taking online orders with no notification they were closed until you get there

Where to start? RUDE STAFF, closing at 7PM on Saturday. It's no wonder why the parking lot is empty. I had such high hopes for this place.

Went in about 2 hours before close. About a 15 minute wait even though the restaurant was not super packed. Figured they were short staffed. Our server came to take our orders after about 10 minutes - she was running all over that place! Took about 35 minutes to get our food (no fault of our servers - she was in the kitchen making food)! While we waited, the male server refused to take anymore tables because he was “done with tables” even though they were still open for another hour. He proceeded to stand around and trash talk his coworkers, the serving industry and other topics instead of help the one remaining server. She was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly and kind to us the entire time. Apologetic and clearly worn out from working very hard!! Fire him and promote her!

We went to get dinner with the family, 6 of us total. The parking lot was almost empty and when we walked in there were hardly anyone in the restaurant so we were expecting to be seated. No one was at the door stand to greet us we waiting about a bit before someone came up. As soon as someone came up the first thing they said it might be awhile. I was then told they had 2 kitchen employees not come in and were short staffed on servers as well and it would be at least 15-20 minutes before we could be seated. Not only was the staff rude but felt they could have done a better job overall. The manager of this restaurant should be taking a more active role in this establishment, manager was no were to be seen. Will not come back to this location and will not recommend them to anyone.

Honestly, it wasn't a great Red Robin experience. I don't expect top-of-the-line service. After all, it's a burger joint.*I should say though, that are waitress was extremely kind and sweet! I appreciated her service and hope she gets a raise or two soon!*However, the host was extremely rude to my husband and I. He didn't greet us when we walked in and simply looked at us a few times as he walked around the restaurant. Finally, he approached the front desk and asked if it was just the two of us. When we confirmed, he walked away without a word. It took him a while to return, but when he did, he grabbed two menus and walked over to a table that clearly was meant to seat more than two people.I asked him if it was possible if we could grab a booth instead. He loudly said, "NOPE". We didn't know exactly how to respond so we stood there quietly. Then he said, "literally the WORST thing you could ever ask a host. But, sure, fine." So he moved us to a booth, but not without a little argument with us... The customers... Super unprofessional and off-putting...Not to mention, the restaurant was just kinda dirty. I couldn't wait to leave. The plexiglass between the booths were filthy and the backs of the seatss had stains all over them. Some of which I am sure could have been wiped off.

Man, this place.. :( My daughter wanted to come here and it took everything in me not to leave after waiting at the door, for almost 10 solid minutes for someone to greet us… got a half hearted greet and she looked shocked people were standing there. Or maybe she noticed I looked annoyed.. (I get it, these are weird times with “staff shortages”) got an excuse if shift change when she seated us, as to why we waited so long….but yet I’ve watched you talk about who knows what… I don’t even know my servers name. She didn’t tell me. She offered drinks, (then app) The floor, is absolutely atrocious…I can count 4 tables seated(I might be missing one or two cause I can’t see the other side) there’s an old drink just setting on the back of the booth.. I don’t know what has happened to this establishment. I also don’t want to hear your conversations about who’s tired, who’s leaving, who’s gotta deal with who. Your at a job. Not a hang out.. The food wasn’t terrible, but for as slow as it appears to be, fries def could have been fresher. And I think people like a like more than a quarter size amount of Mayo on their burgers, and expect ingredients listed on menu on said burger would actually be on it.. that’s me I guess.. this place used to be awesome. And always had a nice crowd… :( You should have the same level of service and expectations from open to close.

Red Robin Mmmmmmm, that’s what this location had going on. We were at the one on Shelbyville Road, after driving all the way to the location, it’s carry out only on Mondays and Tuesdays. Literally not the same experience as dinning in. When you purchase a burger for 12.00, you want to be able to get the bottomless fries etc. Other people were in the parking lot feeling the same way. What happened next. We drove all the way over to the Clarksville location and they did not disappoint. Our waitress was Outstanding, her name is Kayla. She made sure we had the best experience and took very good care of us. Never let our glass go empty and made sure we had enough fresh food. I was so grateful for her and this location being open. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and it just got better and better. As we were leaving a few workers said “Have a great evening and thanks for coming in”. I’m a hour in a half away and will take that drive to go to this location again. Thanks Kayla and The workers who greeted us walking in and said something on the way out. You guys have it going on and should be recognized!!! Way to show up to your customers.
