Señor Iguanas restaurantes mexicanos

I am from Texas, and I knew better than eating Mexican food north of the boarder. Alas, I ate there while visiting friends. I ordered food that I thought couldn't be messed up. Fajitas and queso. Tell me why they brought me queso flavored water? I kid you not, this queso was the consistency of water and was slightly cheese flavored. And the fajitas? flavor was fine, but I don't know what kind of meat that was. That was not skirt steak or flank steak or any kind of steak. that was a step up from dog food quality meat. Again, not sure what animal it was, but it was not cow.

Never had tried to Senor Iguanas restaurant. I was very surprised, impressed and pleased. Very cool decor day of the dead painting and artwork everywhere. Restaurant was super clean. My daughter and I shared chicken fajitas for two. It was a massive place piled up! Very tasty and plenty of leftovers. My wife had shrimp tacos and it was a beautiful plate. Definitely worth a try..

This is such a great place for a flavorful and filling meal! They gave you more than enough food. It is wonderful for the whole family. The atmosphere is bright and cheerful. The service was right on the spot. They were attentive and helpful.

Hands down our favorite restaurant, not just favorite Mexican restaurant. We eat there often. The food is outstanding! You can tell that extra care is taken with each meal. Javi is our favorite server. He has such a good sense of humor & always a smiling face. You can tell that he enjoys his job & is really good at it.

First time here and it was above and beyond what we expected service was great, food was hot and the taste was awesome. Music was about right on volume. Drinks were really good and the beer was cold. We will definitely be back.

We find this place on a roadtrip staff was friendly and food was the best fajitas I have eaten. Full of meat and delicious.

I’ve been craving this place for over a year, ever since they closed their UofL location in Louisville. I ordered my usual — the fajita-style chimichanga with steak — and it looked absolutely delicious when it arrived. Unfortunately, that excitement ended with the first bite. The steak tasted as if it had been boiled, with no seasoning whatsoever. While there were plenty of onions and green peppers, there wasn’t even salt or pepper on the table to help fix the blandness. I’m so disappointed, especially because this was my go-to order every time I visited the Louisville location.
