Steak 'n Shake

You can most definitely tell that they have changed their hamburger meat, it's most definitely frozen patties now and not fresh like it used to be!!! The french fries are definitely better now that they use beef tallow!!! But I will not return for any type of burgers!!!!

Our first visit since all the changes that have taken place. The burger was actually an upgrade. The fries are the string variety and the milkshake was not hand dipped as in the past but not bad during 1/2 price happy hour. There is no table service. Everything must be ordered on the kiosk and picked up at the counter. The drink machine is interesting. You must scan to dispense your purchased pop. We were welcomed and enjoyed our economical meal. We do so miss the little baked bean crocks. They were terrific. There needs to be an option that is not French frys.

I had heard that Steak n'Shake had gone downhill, but sometimes you never realize the depths of it until you see it for yourself. The first thing I noticed upon entering was the smell. The odor was atrocious. Seriously, it smelled like something died in there. Secondly, they're not even a full service restaurant anymore. They're attempting to be fast food when they really aren't by using kiosks to place orders as opposed to more traditional wait staff. On an ease of service level, this makes no sense for a restaurant chain that first started in the 1930s. It would be one thing if Steak and Shake first opened during the 2020s, or even the 2010s, but to me, this seems like the company is being extremely lazy and complete cheapskates in the name of trying to "stay relevant." They're outdated and alienating those around them. And if that's not enough, the restrooms were filthy- there was trash littered everywhere. Between that and the rancid odor in the dining room, I lost my appetite entirely. I'd advise you not to eat here or even set foot in there. You're better off going to Chillburger, Culver's or Mugsy's instead.

10/10 every time! The new ordering system is so quick and you get your food quickly. It’s always hot, fresh, and delicious. Staff are super friendly too! We love you Steak N Shake❤️

Great place to eat at.

Way overpriced. Food was super mid. The shakes were great though. Having to scan a receipt to get the fountain drink to dispense is a new level of petty.

Their burgers are on par with Wendy's imo, but I like their fries more... when they're hot. Sometimes when I go to this location the fries are cold though.

Their shakes and chili are good, but I don't recommend their hot dogs. Their drinks feel larger than typical fast food drink sizes, which I like.

We always have.a hot and delicious meal here.

What are great place! If you are down Clarksville/Louisville area, hey you need to stop here, get a Frisco and keep driving..
