The Iron Skillet has been around since I lived on the West side. The chicken is great and the onion soup is soooo good. I love their salad and dressing. It makes for a good place to go with friends that is usually quiet.

Really cute, eclectic little restaurant. Out of the way but a great find! Local owners whose mother originally started the restaurant. Great food and service. Our party of 6 ordered biscuits & gravy, omelettes, eggs, meat, & toast. Well cooked food and wonderful conversation with the local patrons!
Husband and I enjoyed meal, service and personnel. Delicious and just right. M/ potatoes served w/ gravy in an unordinary way. Not dumped, but with a touch of extra nice consideration. B/ Matt. Again just right. Tks..

I go to this restaurant all the time and it is just awesome. It's rustic allure makes it all perfect for the senior crowd. Food is home cooked. A lot of love goes in to the cooking. Too, you can talk to the owner and servers like they're family, and they make you feel like you are.
