We didn't have any food, but they had some good options for a quick snack. The coffee was amazing, and has a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. Very retro. We will be back when we're in the area!

I made a negative review a few months after this place opened, since then lots of things have gotten better, when I last visited I got 2 iced coffee's and was blown away with how good they where. I give 4 stars mainly for the reason of pricing I spent 13 dollars on the two drinks, I'd recommend if you want to save a few bucks go to Covered Bridge across the river, but I'd still highly recommend Cottage Coffee.

I felt discriminated against one of the older ladies that was working behind the counter. She did not greet me, and when I tried doing small talk with her and complimented her nails, she was very short. You can tell she did not like me being there. After she rang me up, she did not tell me my total but just expected me to hand my card over and was silent the whole interaction with me. My coworker was traveling with me this day, who happens to be white, and the lady seemed to be in a better mood after seeing her and even spoke to her. I’ve come here many times and never had experience this. Personally, I would not like to come here unless I was white.

Had the Italian Beef sandwich which was disappointing. The bun was twice as big as needed. The bun was dense and had no flavor. Did not seem to be a fresh item. The meat was dry and had no flavor.Discarded half of the bun and asked for more "Ajuce". It helped enough to eat most of it.The Mac and cheese was cold and had no flavor.I was told by a friend that has eaten there three times the beef is better than the pork sandwich. Cannot confirm that, as we had two beef sandwiches. The perperchins were the best item served.

inconsistent coffee and drinks, poor service and recently introduced a debit card fee (like the ones at the worst crappiest gas stations). the way to go about this, if you feel the need to do it at all, is to raise the prices and give a cash discount.the food is basically a no go. hard telling how long it’s been sitting in their crock pots. ice cream is good.it’s a shame because it’s in a great spot, the building and the way they have it decorated is cool, it has a lot of potential. but before i go enjoy the building i need a reason to go in and waiting 15 or 20 minutes for a badly made drink isn’t enough.

Staff is always so rude. Coffee is good but don’t expect a smile or a good attitude.

Foods a little pricey and the service altho is there isn't super friendly. Nothing bad but it's just expensive for what you get.

The service was 6/10. We waited for 5 min before anyone acknowledged us. The 2 employees seemed really stressed and irritated .The food was 2/10. They pre make the sandwiches, then stick them in the microwave. My pregnant wife was really hungry but couldn't eat the biscuit because it was similar to hard tack (we actually tried banging on the table, it didn't break). The pulled pork sandwich was very very soggy. I had to eat it with a fork. The interior was lovely though. They had old 70s booths, rustic lights, and antique signage on the walls. The inside smelled nice too, and the bathroom was clean. The drinks were 9/10. They had a lot of flavors to choose from, and my pregnant wife got the London Fog she was craving. Too bad she left hungry. The price was 6/10. The drinks were worth it, but we might as well have gone to Circle K for the food. We spent $28 for pretty walls to look at, not much else.
