Cute place with friendly staff..food somehow missed the Italian flavor I wanted.

The Chef has been given a talent by God and it shows in the taste of the food. Staff was excellent. 10/10 I give it a 100.

We went for my son’s 35th birthday 🎂 celebration at Angottis Italian Restaurant where the owner Ingrid came out and spoke with us for a bit. She also had something special for the kids to surprise their father (my son). They were taken to the kitchen by the owner, Ingrid where they became little chefs. They sang Happy Birthday to their father as well as singing to the gentleman at the next table as it was his 70th birthday. His wife had tears of joy when the kids sang to her husband.

Fried Ravioli was incredible.
We ordered the Trio (Alfredo, lasagna, spaghetti) and the chicken parmigiana.

I will say I am extremely picky about lasagna. Saying this I thoroughly enjoyed the lasagna here and would get it next time.

The chicken parmigiana was delicious. Again I am very picky about the sauce and it was amazing.

We took my father here for Father’s Day since we have been wanting to try this place forever now. It was a little disappointing and not what I was expecting at all. The atmosphere is just….weird. I don’t know how to explain it. There was ONE waitress, who wasn’t even really a waitress because you’re required to get your own drinks too but the soda machine wasn’t working so we had to pour from two liters. It was weird and awkward. The food was just ok. To me, it tasted like fazolis. Nothing was spectacular. $80 for three people for bland food and getting our own drinks. Because of there being only one waitress for the whole restaurant, it took forever to get our bill. A couple other people at different tables were also complaining about how long it was taking. If they are short staffed and trying their best, that’s one thing. I’ve worked in several restaurants and understand the struggle, however, there was so sense of urgency what so ever and no apology or appreciation for us coming in. Also, the menu for the buffet that was posted on Facebook had several items listed that weren’t actually on the buffet line, which happened to be the items we came there for. I hope it was just a weird day for this restaurant and maybe we will try it again, but not on a buffet day.

We showed up here not knowing they required reservations, so please call ahead. Even though they made an accommodation for us, they might not be able to for the next person.
This is why I decided to write the review because they didn't have to accommodate us at all, but they did. Normally, I don't review after one visit but man, the food was phenomenal. Best lasagna I have ever had. Hands down. Service was great, all food was fresh, served right out the kitchen. Call ahead so you can get in, I am pretty sure it was a fluke that we did.

Had an excellent first time experience from the host / server the atmosphere, had the lasagna was amazing!! 10 out of 10 !!! served with salad and bread then had cherry cheesecake Wow out of this world good !!

This restaurant is a hidden gem in downtown Columbus. My wife and I went and we were both blown away. The food was amazing, the service impeccable and the atmosphere extremely charming. We will definitely be returning. The only reason we had to wait is because we didn't realize that we needed a reservation(they were still able to get us in which we really appreciate) so be sure to book a reservation before you go.

Food was very good except my portions for my meal was kinda small I feel like but other than that food/service was very good.

Had a great meal! Very friendly staff! Will return for sure!
